Sample Pack - 9 Automotive Products
I called before buying the sample pack to ask the typical size of each sample. The person who answered said it was about 4"x4". When I received it, on average, they were about 2.75" x 2". Also, I received two follow up calls, which was nice, but when I discussed this, the person who answered said this is what is standard for "free" samples. While it is low cost, it is not free. As far as I can tell, the products are of high quality. I do like the detailed specifications.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I’ve used this on a couple cars now. Very pleased, but also very cut up—watch those edges folks!

Yes, we use an annealed 6.5 mil foil which is one of the keys to our product performing the best at trapping vibrations. Gloves should always be worn during installations. Thanks for using Second Skin.

Car Door Soundproofing Package
Order the door kits for my 2013 Ram 1500 sport crew cab. Great materials and the kits supply plenty for my truck doors, even with some to spare for my next project. Doors are solid like a tank and very quite, makes the noise through floor boards more appearant. (Next project) the kit has everything you need to install and I like the speaker baffles aswell.

Just finished adding Second Skin sound deadener to my wood roof in my ride. Product is amazing to work with and looks super clean. By far the best deadener on the market!

Mega Zorbe™ - Hydrophobic Melamine Foam
I've had this on my truck now for a couple weeks and wow this stuff is amazing. It has really helped my truck with heat as well as I'm in Texas.
On top of great products, Eric is amazing and has most likely spent hours helping me with questions. And on top of that their customer service in a whole is absolutely great. Thank you guys for making my truck tolerable in this heat

OverKill Pro™ - 3/8" Closed Cell Foam
Great product! Couldn’t be happier with my choice! The adhesive backing is excellent. Not so sticky that you can’t easily fix mistakes but sticky enough to hold in hot weather with no concerns of it slipping out of place.

B-Stock: Luxury Liner Pro – 2' x 4.5' x 3/8" (2 Sheets, 18 Sq Ft) — Save 35%
B-stock showed up in similar packaging and nearly the same quality as the full price material that I bought. Even if it was in half the shape, the cost savings made it worth while.

B-STOCK: OverKill Closed Cell Foam - 24" x 54" x 1/8" (3 sheets, 27 sq ft) - SAVE 40%!
I’ve bought a bunch of SecondSkin product to sound abate my new 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness, including this closed cell foam. B-Stock saved me a bunch of money and since its going inside the door of a regular car, a few flaws in the product are worth it - especially since this product is so much superior to others in the market space. I’ve directly compared it to cheaper competitive products and the savings is simply NOT worth the price differential. I won’t use anything other than Second Skin products.

Luxury Liner Pro™ MLV + Foam Auto Sound Barrier Sheets
I'm not big on that toxic rubber smell and this had a fairly strong odor when it arrived, too strong to put in the car. I left it outside for months, and it got better but never went away enough to put in the car. So I wouldn't recommend sensitive to smells, otherwise it seemed like it would have worked well for sound.

Hi Taylor,
I'm sorry to hear about that issue! The product contains rubber, and for some people that scent is just strong, but it is non-toxic and doesn't off gas. Most people smell nothing or a very mild smell, but human noses are all different.
Unfortunately, there's no real substitute for MLV as a noise barrier in a vehicle so we may not have a good alternative for you. We are reaching out to you now to learn more about the project and also to arrange a return.
Thanks for choosing Second Skin!

I like this bottle so much I bought 3 of them! I haven’t used them yet. I’m prepping the cab on my 66 Ford F100 to spray with Second Skin. Will send pics when finished but in the meantime here’s a couple of pics of my progress😁

Luxury Liner Pro™ MLV + Foam Auto Sound Barrier Sheets
It worked!
Applying a later of MLV on top of 100% coverage of damplifier on the roof and floor of my truck reduced noise significantly. And I haven't even done for yet! Unfortunately no pics. Was to tired by the end of the day.
Applying it is not hard once you get a hang of it. Having good 3d perception helps to coat it around uneven surfaces. That and strategic use of double sided tape.
Seats went in smoothly. Had to trim plastic bits a little though.
But all in all definitely worth the bother.
