I have a 2007 Ford Econoline cargo van and have always wanted to sound-deaden and insulate it. After doing a bunch of research, I decided to go with Second Skin (Damplifier Pro and Mega Zorbe). I’m almost done with installing the Damplifier and I’m already noticing a big difference. This stuff is great! At first I didn’t really know what I was doing, but Second Skin’s customer service is top-notch -- you can actually call and speak with a human! Eric has been very helpful and patient in answering all my questions. I’m very happy with the quality of the product and only wish I had installed it sooner.

Bought this as an “eff it, it can’t hurt anything if it doesn’t work”. I did the driver side wheel well and wheel well liner on my ram 1500. I had put wildpeaks on and this as an attempt to reduce road noise and it seems to have worked. Only has had a cure time of about 10 hours and I can already tell a difference. Might have to order another gallon to do my rear wheel wells. I have enough to do the passenger side. I simply did a few coats on the top of the wheel well liner and put it back on.

Best stuff ever . My 2019 JL rubicon sound way more quieter and made my sound system sound a lot better everybody noticed it what a difference. I’m sorry I can’t get you a picture have a bring your iPad and it was on the old one but I will generate a new picture on another project with me using spectrum in a different area but I didn’t it’s amazing it works and it’s amazing Product.👨🏻‍🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒

I usually don't leave product reviews but had to this time. once the car was masked off it layed down great. Clean up was easy with the hose running and a little planning. Put down four coats and have enough left over for when I re-skin the doors. I can hear the difference in sound just by working near the firewall. Price couldn't be beat. Will install on all projects moving forward. Some of the lighting makes it look gray but everything cured black. 110% recommended!!!

Stuff works great! Leftover sheets after the car can be used around the house, too. Also did 4 ceiling fan motor covers (tap on one to see how hollow and how much it rings!). Now deadly quiet except for the air moving and these were 3 cheapies and a Hunter, which is in the bedroom. No more humming and droning!

It did slightly reduce the tire noise coming into the cabin (used with sound deadening) but the results were minimal and I don't think it was worth the purchase and so much work, especially in the summer heat. Of course, the vehicle floor/firewall was covered as much as possible, and the doors are treated with sound deadening material as well.

Easy to install, helps silence the Jeep nicely.

I've done quite a few stereo installs over the years but never have used any sound deadening or additional insulation until this install. The Second Skin products were very easy to use and are very high quality. The results are incredible and I have and will continue to recommend Second Skin products.

Installing Damplifier, Luxury Liner, and Overkill on my 2005 GTO made a dramatic difference, and I'm so glad I spent the effort to do it. It took roughly 25 hours to get it done, but well worth it.

Overall noise levels are way down. Both in terms of wind/road noise, as well as zero tire noise and significantly reduced drivetrain noises (ie: gear whine, clunking, even the exhaust drone is gone).

All rattles from the plastics are also gone, which resulted in something I didn't expect related to subwoofer localization (but suppose I should have). When playing the stereo, the sub frequencies are now imaged with the rest of the frequencies, so right out on the rear edge of the hood.

I imagine there was more panel noise happening than I realized, which allowed me to locate the sub in the trunk when it played. All of the treatment has removed those noises, so the time alignment of my Pioneer 80PRS head unit is now much more effective in creating the stereo image out front.

During my 1st short drive out, I didn't even turn the stereo on. I just listened to the road and ambient noises. All I'm really hearing now is the side mirrors (wind noise). When I was putting all the panels back on, I made it a point to tap/knock on them as I went, to check for plastic sounds. When I heard one, I would take the time to figure out what was causing it, and cut small pieces of CCF to address it. I even disassembled the lumbar knob setup on the side of the seat, and treated those plastic pieces with CCF; since they were squeaking when I would shift around in the seat.

I also replaced my tires with Bridgestone Quiettracks at the same time. Before I started any treatment, and before the tires were replaced, I measured road noise VIA a calibrated mic under repeatable circumstances, and recorded 71 dBA. After treating the car, and replacing the tires ... I measured the noise again, under the same circumstances, and recorded 57.7 dBA.

Love the quality and how great it sticks I’m only about half way done with my trunk and will be installing a sound system but very pleased with second skin damplifier, I will definitely purchase it again and recommend it to everyone looking for great quality deadening mats!

Ordering from the site was easy and great. I gave the product to my installers who had no issues cutting and laying the material in the car. Sound insulation has improved greatly - very happy!

The factory insulation material on my 93 MasterCraft Prostar 205 disintegrated years ago. Having grown sufficiently tired of engine noice and difficulty hearing passengers I decided to try Second Skin. Now, unless I'm getting into the 4 barrel, I can barely hear ANY engine noise. Of course, the exhaust is still loud but nothing coming from the engine box. Talking with and hearing passengers is significantly improved. I would recommend this product, especially if you're getting older and harder of hearing. The service was great. No complaints. It took a bit more time than I figured but that's true with most any first time project.

I needed to soundproof loud air conditioners to make an outdoor porch more usable. Second Skin techs answered all my questions and provided a roll of "Mass Loaded Vinyl" (MLV) Soundproofing Barrier that worked perfectly. Note that their product has a higher tensile strength than the cheap stuff at big box construction stores. Great support, great price, fast shipping. Biggest worry is that my wife will find their number and soundproof ME!
