Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
seems to tone down the road noise a bit. I used 4 layers of Fat Mat covered in in Spectrum deadner and it made my Prius a nicer highway cruiser. I would like to remove the plastic panels from under the car and FatMat and sludge these areas to see if I can really cut down on the road noise. Good product easy soap and water cleanup

The next step is to block out road noise and mass-loaded vinyl would be best for that.

Luxury Liner™ 1 lb MLV Roll - Mass Loaded Vinyl
I was skeptical about the sound blocking capabilities of MLV. It has been years since I had a new car to work on. Historically, I would just put the sound deadening tiles. After a lot of research, I choose to use second skins damplifier, luxury liner, and luxury liner pro. The difference is night and day. My truck, with loud tires has become as quiet as a high end sedan. Thank you

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I’ve used the leading competitor for years. Their product doesn’t compare to damplifier pro. The quality is so much higher. Dynamat seems to have given up on innovation. Second Skin’s products are light years ahead.

These aren’t just any regular decals, they are well made and I expect them to have the same performance level as all SS products

Works as required but it's a little difficult to remove the backing. I needed Momma's longer finger nails.

Luxury Liner™ Sheet - Mass Loaded Vinyl (1 lb / 2 lb)
I had a great experience with this product. I installed two sheets in the cabin of my NB Miata. One sheet was enough to cover most of the area behind the driver/passenger to the edge of the firewall. I didn't want to remove the dash, so I didn't do full coverage of the firewall, nor over the transmission tunnel. I used close cell foam as a separator.
Results were great and very noticeable. The car sounds like my Acura now cruising around town. I'm redlining it all the time because I can't hear the engine! At highway speeds it's still loud because of the wind noise, but that's expected for a convertible with a 20-year-old top.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
Installed in the back of cab of my 2002 QuadKota. Hella reduced rear road noise and swear it made my 12” sub hit harder. Call that a WinWin. Will do my floorboard next. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Needs to be warm, once sheet is cool very difficult to manage. Oh and an extra set of hands would also be helpful. Give SecondSkin your $$$. If installed correctly you will not regret it.

Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
A little difficult to spray, but messing with the gun yielded best results when the paint can was unscrewed, actually. Once nozzle/suction has been properly configured you can lay on a lot of material pretty quickly. I added about 2-3mm to everything aft of the front seats and it used a little more than 3 gal. I have secondhand information on whether or not the remaining 2 gal will be still usable after 30-ish days of being opened. If I had to do it again I would probably buy smaller quantities to reduce the chance of waste. It deadens sound as advertised.

Very overpriced from Second Skin. A gallon of this stuff is only about $50 so shop around. Works great with vinyl and carpet. Very strong and instant bond.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
Adhered well and I liked the black color, working good so far against riding mower hood vibration and deadened the metal sound. It is enduring the engine heat under the hood just fine. I used a wood roller to smooth out and adhere the pieces starting from the center out which I slit and peeled the backing away from the center out wards while rolling it down, only 2 bubbles, picked through the foil with a needle and got them out fine.
