First timer so a lot of OJT. I like the smaller rectangles of Damplifier Pro. The size made it a lot easier to install, especially inside the doors and kick panel vents. Luxury Liner, on the other hand, was most challenging to hang on the firewall and the gas tank, but I got there. I can tell it's going to make a big positive difference as most of my cursing could not be heard outside the cab! Well worth the learning curve, effort, and time. Can't wait to do my Chevelle. Great product lines.

Both the Luxury Liner Pro - Mass Loaded Vinyl + Closed Cell Foam and the Luxury Liner B Stock Sheets Mass Loaded Vinyl materials are extremely easy to cut and fit into the tight places you need to get to in these smaller sectioned American sports cars and the results of the final fitment are very satisfying. Also the 16 oz can High Temp Spray Adhesive and the Super Strong Double Sided Tape worked flawlessly for me.

Guys at second skin have so much knowledge about deadner, never knew the big difference between second skin vs other brands such as stinger, sky high, ect. This deadner is by far the best stuff I have ever worked with. I refuse to use another brand!

My experience with second skin has been absolutely amazing. After buying and trying the 30sq ft of damplifer pro I am sold on the quality that second skins reputation has. This is the second personal vehicle that I have installed damplifier in and truly love working with it. It molds effortlessly into recessed areas and around curves. The B-Stock could be considered A-Stock essentially. Of the 26 sheets that I have used so far, I have come across 2 with "blemishes" which to me were basically nothing. The guys at Second Skin are amazing to work with and very down to earth. I will be using the rest of the damplifier that I have to do my roof and once my budget allows will order more to outfit the rest of the truck. Thank you Second Skin!

Nothing beats Second Skin Products!!!

I've been in pursuit of dampening road noise from my 2017 Chevy SS Sedan for more than a year.

I started with SecondSkin Spectrum spray for the undercarriage, followed by Damplifier Pro sheets in the trunk and doors. My installer was initially hesitant to use Luxury Liner - Mass Loaded Vinyl Sheet on top of the Damplifier Pro in the doors, but we got past that. Reason: This stuff is quite heavy, and if not secured properly, you run the risk of it peeling off under its own weight; especially on a verticle surface that is subject to vibration and impacts from closing your door(s). Due to the design of car doors, you usually have to cut small sections and glue each one separately. This is beneficial as it prevents an otherwise larger piece from peeling-off under its own weight.

Using the SecondSkin HH-66 Vinyl Contact Cement, the installer wiped the backside of the Damplifier Pro with a cleaner solution and applied the mass loaded material. Damplifier™ Butyl Rope was subsequently used to fill any gaps while leaving the drainage holes clear.
Do keep in mind that while I'm confident the HH-66 Vinyl Contact Cement will hold over time, you need to weigh risk/benefit to your specific application. The mass loaded is very heavy, but the HH-66 Cement is incredibly strong.

Following the door project phase, I drove 250-miles home, and the results were impressive! The reduced sound from the exterior was notable, and the increased clarity from the doors speakers was an unintended bonus. ​

Please know this material doesn't perform miracles by itself. However, if used in combination with other SecondSkin products; combined with an overall strategy, you can achieve meaningful results.

First time I ever used deadner in a build. Did my doors An have been amazed at the difference in sound An depth it has.

The best sound deadening products out there. Complete coverage done in car with damplifer pro. And floors and doors also have a layer of luxury liner pro. Outside noise is almost none existant. If only there was a product for glass.
