XCaliber’s .50 Cal. AE continues to rank as my #1 choice for this type of ammunition, due to its continued unmatched performance at the firing range, at test distances ranging from 10 to 25 yards. Zero hang ups while cycling though three fully loaded magazines at a time, utilizing 40 total rounds during this last session (two boxes). Two other competitor’s ammunition was also tested alongside XCaliber’s (300 and 325 grain contenders). XCaliber’s ammo continues to burn cleaner leaving less residue, and possesses a little extra power (via their 335 grain round) which I personally think provides a little extra force to help ensure the slide recoil is consistent and completes full cyclic motion, even if on occasion my grip unintentionally loosens between shots. Competitor’s brass often feels a little dusty or tacky - XCaliber’s ammo brass is very clean and smooth - this helps the feeding operation particularly when launching 21 .50Cal. rounds down range in semi rapid succession. The price point for such quality is also great. Customer service has been exceptional thus far.

Built gun when file hunting became leagle in my state. I was tired of long shots with 12 g and tracking up n down hills. This ammo, in this gun ,creates 15 foot of blood splatter , large amounts of damage and I blew a doe 10 foot back at 120 yards, that's the farthest one has ran after shooting this ammo. Be conscious of were you shoot these if you want the meet they will destroy flesh all the way through. No pictures of this because I don't trophy hunt , I feed my family in this way. Great ammo I would hunt a grizzly with it if was into that. Thanks and love always

This is superb ammunition at a superb price! It's ultra reliable and accurate. I almost hate to shoot it because it's so beautiful. I've had reliability issues with other brands but never with Xcalibur. And you can't beat Andy's customer service. In the target pic you can see 7 shots (4 are covered with patches cuz they were fliers), all taken in 15 to 20 mile per hour winds. Of the seven there are three basically in the bullseye. The bottom shot and the one directly above it are .75 inches apart. The top two shots are .75 inches apart. The bottom and upper right are 1.25 inches apart. These are at 100 yards in very windy conditions. I love you XCaliber! Git some!!!

My great uncle brought home the Type 99 from WWII. All his WWII stuff went into the attic where it stayed for several years after his death until his wife passed. My uncle inherited the rifle and stayed down in the basement until he recently passed. Right before he passed, he said he always wanted to shoot it, but never could find ammo for it. So it had been sitting since the 1940's without being used once.
After a little bit of research to ensure the gun was safe to shoot, we took it out to the farm and fired away. Uncle would've been proud. Thanks guys for bringing the rifle back to life. Will order some more and work on using the iron sights and look forward to using this for deer hunting.

Restored my fathers Arisaka Type 99 that his father sent home to him from the South Pacific in 1945. The ammunition worked beautifully. The rifle was was very accurate. Thank you very much for a fine product. The last time it was fired was in 1948 when my father was 10. They used a 7mm round, the closest thing they could find. He said they only tried that once. Your rounds worked a mite bit better.
