Good shooting ammo, does have a bit of recoil, and shoots a good fireball. I did notice it dirties the gun up a little more than usual but nothing too bad.

Glad someone is making 7.7mm rounds for my Japanese Arisaka Type 99. Rounds worked flawlessly at the range. Nice groupings.

Feed great once I got my magazine issue figured out, nothing wrong with the ammo. They all cycled as they should and felt the same. I shot 40 of them without any issues at all and I'm 100% happy and would recommend these to anyone.

7.7 x 58 Japanese Arisaka 150gr. Soft Point
My grandfather brought a Japanese Arisaka back from Iwo Jima. It spent probably close to half a century rusting in the rafters of the garage until he passed. I’ve had it restored but the last time if was fired, it was pointing at US Marines. The lighter 7.7 load was perfect for testing out this old rifle at a reduced pressure to ensure that it functioned safely Many of the late war production models have been known to have issues with adequacy of the barrels. XCaliber ammo gave me a little peace of mind easing the rifle back into good working order. Fantastic performance that brought this family heirloom back to life. Can’t say enough.

I had just purchased my new Marlin 45-70 and was looking for some ammo to try it out. I heard about XCalibur on a forum and decided to give your 300gr hot loads a try. As you can see they were great.

Xcaliber JHP 300gr .458 Socom is my favorite round. Bullet finish, accuracy, cycling and delivery from Xcaliber has been top notch. There are a number of available projectiles for the .458 Socom. The cost per round and effectiveness of this round will keep it as my preferred ammunition.

Extremely fast shipping, and awesome price for .458 socom. Haven't had a chance to use too much of it (too cold), but the test shots I did functioned perfectly!

45/70 Government 300gr. Hornady JHP 200rds (High Power)
Bought the Xcaliber 45-70. The high powered version is pretty high powered. I have a 22', 6lb, holding 5+1 rds Rossi lever action. Shoulder wore out starting after 4-5 rds . The lighter recoil was quite handle-able through 24rds. think I'll mix some higher powered stuff with lighter recoil variety at about a 2-4 ratio until gone. Not planning on going after Moose anytime soon anyway.
