So far, so good.I am in the process of assembling this unit for use on top of a "kittie condo". Packaging for this device is outstanding & components are well made.

Quick and easy process to update the body. New food from Science Diet is larger so old body did not work for me. Very impressive that the new body is available rather than having to buy new units. A great company making a quality product. Supporting repairs is terrific. My two Super Feeders are 10 years old and work perfectly.

I bought the additional ACDT -36 -7 day digital timer, Its comforting to know the cats have back up in the chance of a power glitch when out of town. As I stated previously in another review. play with it and get to know it. So its right before you leave. Check for the amount of food to dispense and how often. Knowing its working for your situation, I have trap, neuter, re-turn cats, who were left behind from previous owners. So I need to know they are getting some food every day while we are gone.

We love our SuperFeeder automatic cat feeder for our two 15yo cats. They no longer wake us up in the morning begging for food. They've learned that the machine is their source of food, not the humans! I have it on a timer, so it dispenses twice a day. It's also adjustable, so you can tweak the size of the opening depending on the size of the kibble, and change how long it stays on (how much kibble per feeding). Customer service is also excellent! I've had these feeders for 8 years, and have only had to replace one part. It's so convenient that the company sells parts and how-to videos of replacing parts. I highly recommend these feeders!

I'm loving my super feeder. I got it to replace a smaller, more common feeder which was pretty small and had a low capacity for food. I got the extension tube so I can fill it with quite a bit of food for my large cichlid tank. They're all fairly large fish and can eat quite a bit of food. I was replacing the food in my old feeder very frequently, and it wasn't always obvious when it was running low. With my new AFS-1, it can actually hold enough food to last a good while, and I can see when it's running low with a quick glance, thanks to the clear plastic.

Best feeder ever I have two love them...

Ordered 2. One works perfectly fine but the other stays on no matter what setting or how many resets.

This feeder has solved multiple problems: cats waking us up WAY too early, one cat eating too fast and vomiting, and I don’t have to remember to feed the cats dry food after their first dinner and first breakfast of wet food.
I love the ACDT20 timer. It allows me to dispense small portions throughout the day, preventing the cat that eats to fast from vomiting. The hopper is easy to clean. If you don’t personally have woodworking skills, I would recommend getting the set that comes the bowl & stand attachment.
I would keep in mind that if you have cats that are territorial and won’t share eating space, you may need to buy more than one of these OR find some way to do tubing to dispense to multiple bowls as pictured in some of the DIY pics.
Rest assured that indoor cats trying to game the system to pull more food out of the food dispenser on the bottom will not be successful. I’ve found a perverse joy in watching the break-in attempts of my fat boy being foiled over and over.

I haven’t been able to review this because it took me forever to set up this feeder. My husband agreed to make a simple stand if I purchased the feeder. Six months later, the stand had not appeared and somehow the cats had gotten off their regular feeding schedule during that time. They were waking us up by singing the song of their people or clawing the bed at 4AM. And 4:45AM. And 5:30AM. After 4 days of this, I ordered the Super Feeder stand.
The stand was set up within fifteen minutes and was easy to do alone. (I had purchased the CSF3-XL feeder with the hopper and the ACDT20 timer).
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this stand and the CSF3-XL feeder! The boys have stopped waking us up at crack thirty in the morning. My big cat who is highly food motivated can’t play the system and make food fall out of this feeder like he did on the last automatic feeder we had. I do think I’m going to have to order a second one as my old man is having territorial issues and bullying my big boy.
I would recommend getting the ACDT20 timer. You can manually run a quick treat of food if you want at the push of a button and program multiple small meals throughout the day. The feeder is also a great solution for cats that eat too fast and then vomit.

Works as described.

Works great, very dependable. Internal rechargeable battery keeps clock alive and programming saved, so power outages not a problem. There are a lot of similar-looking timers for sale, but they do not have 1-second on-off capability .. only minutes. This is the one you need for feeders!

I bought my original feeder in 2013. It had gotten a little beat up due to me not securing it well. It needed new housing to get back to preforming at its best. I was very pleased to be able to fix it instead of buying a whole new product. I have a more secure set up now and I am excited to have something that will last many more years!

This timer works perfectly. I can rely on it to ensure that my cat is fed the same amount of food at the same time every day whether I am at home or not. They even programmed the timer for me. Thank you!

These are great, but you need to play with it a week or so before you go anywhere. Gives you 1 cup an hr , so adjust how often and how much you need for each cat. a week after we got back from being out of town it still had food in it. So we just let it finish out. 1 draw back is we had a glitch with electricity after we got back and the settings were off. But it served its purpose for the 13 feral cats we have been feeding, left behind from the pot house. Awesome feeders on a timer.

Great! Good product and easy to install. Thanks!

This thing is awesome, I used to pay a neighbor kid to feed our Koi every other day. Well he moved on and this feeder took his place and it doesn't talk back. The package deal is the only way to go, it had everything. I added a 12 volt buzzer that sounds for one minute while the feeder runs for 45 seconds to dispense one cup of food. The included digital timer allows for a one minute on time which was ideal since I didn't want the buzzer going off longer than necessary. Right now I am trying to train the fish to get their food from the feeder rather than my hand. The dispenser was easy to calibrate but took several tries so it would put out one cup of kibble every time it turned on. Using both clear square plastic feed tubes and the black plastic feed hopper it holds 24 cups. Wish I would have gotten one of these years ago.

My cat has benefited from this feeder for 6 years. It has worked wonderfully and while he used to meow all day long, asking for food, now he's a happy boy knowing that food comes every day at the exact same time and no need to talk to those "two leggers" about it. Easy to fill, easy to set. Have monitored it with a remote camera and can trigger remote feeding if the timer ever fails.

Very happy with this product. Just bought a back-up dispenser unit in case my original one fails.

Gerard was very helpful when taking my order. The timer ws easily programed. It was installed on a pump 50 miles away in the hills. I hope it still works.

Love this feeder!! After going through 4 ehiem autofeeders I finally stepped up to the Super Feeder! Built for longevity, I won't be looking any farther. We use it on a 1500 gallon freshwater aquarium and it is very dependable.

She loves it
