The feeder works great and I'm very happy I can leave the cats worry free for a couple days. I was very disappointed that for the price I still had to provide my own timer! Seems like it should have come built in and programmable. When we switched from much smaller kitten food to adult larger food took some trail and error but now it is absolutely great!!!

I am very satisfied with the feeder. I am able to travel with the assurance that my furry babies are well fed.

Excellent auto cat feeder. Has changed our morning routine in a very positive way (cats now understand that waking us up for food does nothing - the machine provides). Also great that you can buy replacement parts - have used ours every day for the last 6 years and only just last month needed to buy a replacement hopper. My husband would feed our cats at 5 am just prior to leaving for work. He recently retired and is now sleeping later, but they still wanted to be fed early and would scratch on our bedroom door and cry to try to wake us up, which they did, much to our dismay. Since getting the Super Feeder and having it set to release their kibble at 5:30 am, they are now happy, well-fed fur babies and let us sleep as long as we want!

I purchased my first Koi-Pond Super Feeder in May 2006, and I love it as much as I did when I first set it up; actually, more so when I realized how consistently it operated, year after year. For 11 years, it has given me flawless service. Every fall I remove it from my pond and store it in the garage. In the spring I re-install it, re-set the ac-clock timer, plug it all in, cover it to protect it from rain, and it works perfect. I am still impressed with the stability and solid build of this great machine. I bought additional hopper extensions (total four) that enable a month or so of feeding before it needs refilling. This is a great product - excellent quality and dependability. So great, I bought another one! Thanks for making my daily life and vacation planning easier for me and my koi.

I was able to adjust the feeding amount to the small amount required for two fish while cycling the system. About 20 Aquamax 400 pellets each feeding cycle. I bought a on/off wi-fi plug at Walmart for $20 that allows me to feed on a schedule of up to 8 times daily. Works flawlessly

Have had this set up for a week now and so far everything is working great with the wi-fi timer. I didn't need to do much customizing except to use a different bowl as my cat didn't seem to like the plastic one that came with. This will make mornings much easier and also taking vacations. Thanks!

I've had one of these superfeeders for our cats for about 5 years, and it still works great (had to replace the inside flap once). I recently purchased a second feeder because our boy cat is so much bigger than his sister and bullies her away from the feeder. I have both connected to a WeMo internet connected switch. My only critique of the product, really, is that I wish the dispensing time controller was easier to operate and calibrate. With two feeders, I'm having trouble getting them both to dispense for the same amount of time by readjusting that little brass screw.

I've recommended the feeder to others, and don't know what better endorsement there is than having purchased a second one.

The timer is beyond awesome. I use it to activate my mist keeper sprinkling system. I've went through 2 mist keeper seconds timer in less than a year. Would just stop working. This thing has been spot on and will definately continue to shop here

Love this feeder! Assembly was super easy when following along with the video. The ability to customize the amount of food dispensed and time frames is priceless for my IBD/lymphoma cat, Elliott. It's a relief to know that he's finally able to eat enough throughout the day without having the vomiting issues. He's much less frantic about food now.

TL/DR: The Super Feeder isn't perfect, but we're very glad we bought it. We purchased the Super-Feeder for two reasons: 1) Our cat gets sick if she eats too much at a time, and 2) This lets us be away at normal feeding times. We have been feeding her 3 meals of 6g an hour apart in the morning and the same at night. The Super-Feeder is great on timing, with the digital HS-100 timer. It is however noisy. We have it in the bathroom of our master bedroom and it can be heard all too well in the bedroom itself, even with a foam mat below it.. Interestingly enough there is a pre-click that precedes the feeding by 1/2-1 second, and the instant our cat hears the pre-click she runs to the feeder. The second problem is that with our tiny 6g feeding, it is hard to get it accurate. It seems to average the 36g a day we want her to have, but each feeding could be a gram or so above or below what we want. I'm assuming that with a larger amount of food the differences would be less meaningful. Finally, between watching the video and reading the instructions carefully, I had no problem putting the product together. One gotcha that got me was that the base of the unit was hidden under cardboard and foam packing, and I didn't realize it was there until I really removed everything from the box. I will be trying to post a video showing the noise, as well as the small amount of food the cat is fed.

My cat was previously using a different automated feeder which dispensed in 5,10, or 15gram increments up to 4 times a day. But he would still eat too quickly and vomit right away, every day. So I theorized that more feedings per day of smaller amounts might work better. He's been using the Super Feeder for about 10 days now. He is doing much better and has only vomited once. The only thing to note is that the feeder is lightweight so he pushes it all around the kitchen.

We had two cats; one had an intestinal tumor that required her to eat very calorie dense food at prescribed intervals and the other was overweight and needed to be limited in the amount of food he would eat per day. Hungry cats are annoying and will wake you up in the middle of the night demanding food if they associate you with being fed. We purchased two super feeders and they were AMAZING. The sound of the food flowing out of the feeders became a dinner bell for our cats and we learned how to time the meals so that both cats ate only their food in the right amounts around the clock (they would dispense food every 6 hours).
Unfortunately we had to finally say goodbye to our cat with the intestinal tumor but we kept both feeders and had them set to go off at different hours (every 12 hours offset) so that our remaining cat would eat from both and the supply would last longer. This has been great for when we need to be away for the weekend. We know that our cat is being fed and that even if one feeder malfunctions (which has yet to happen in the 4 years that we have used the feeders), there is always a backup. The feeders can be a little loud (mostly the sound of the kibble hitting the feed bowl) when they go off but we quickly got used to it and barely notice anymore.
We have told many friends with cats about this product and how great it is, especially when you need to keep your animal on a schedule but also want to be able to travel and have a social life.

I can't remember exactly how long we've had our Super Cat Feeder, but our cat is going on 8 years old. After getting him as a kitten, we resorted to getting a timer feeder in an effort to keep him from banging on our bedroom door early in the morning demanding breakfast. This feeder has been a godsend. We've had no problem in the years we've had it, although I recently had to replace the clear food extensions, because my food-obsessed feline took advantage of a screw falling out that made the connection to the feeder loose. Questions I emailed were responded to very quickly and they offer replacement parts for nearly everything. I cannot recommend this feeder enough. We just love it!!!

After a while of my cat trying full-time to break in to his feeder, he was finally able to move it around enough to break off the corners of the clear container holding his food. Our fault, though - the bottom screw had fallen out and I'd never taken the time to tighten it up with another screw. I ordered the new extensions and they've worked beautifully. Delivery was unbelievably quick and they were very responsive to my questions before ordering.

My cat Bagheera, gained weight and needed to lose it. A year of special food which I measured out twice a day (after 1/2-1 hour of howling and pestering) . I was on the hunt for a good automatic feeder. I’d owned a different feeder before that my cat was able to steal food from and didn’t give small enough servings. My niece recommended SUPER FEEDER, she said it was Great. Boy was she right. Now my sweet boy knows that his wonderful “slot machine” will feed him and we have a much happier house. BEST PRODUCT OF ITS KIND!!! Hands down.
