Let me start off by saying that I am new to the Silhouette, but I'm not totally new to personal cutters. I have My Explore Air. I came to the Silhouette because of the software. I got this class in my package from amazon. With that said lets begin.
If you have never used this kind of cutter before this is a fantastic class. Very informative she covers a lot of the basics. Which is great. If you want to learn more which she does seem to be very educated in the product. In the video I believe she says 4 times over. IMHO its a great starting point.
I took off 1 star because they emailed me twice for a review, I don't normally leave reviews because everyone has there own opinion and learning curve.

The booklet is excellent and if I were grading only on content, I would have given 5 stars. I opted to download the ecopy to avoid paying just as much for shipping as for the document. I printed a single copy on my home printer and the photos are very small and the writing is illegible on the screen shots. (Even if one zooms in on the screen shots, they are blurry and illegible.) Since this booklet is an ecopy, I can't see why the photos of the examples can't be at least 1/2 a letter size sheet of paper. Yes, it would have increased the size of the file, but it certainly would make it easier to follow along. As previously noted, I got the ecopy and printed a single copy at home so the cost of the actual printing would be "on me" whether I printed 8 pages front and back or 25 pages front and back. Please keep in mind that not everyone (esp. older users) want to flip back and forth between their work and a manual.
I don't know what the quality of a printed copy would be, but I am hesitant to make any other purchases based on this one issue.
