Size was a bit too small (though still fit).

I received my pair at the beginning of winter and have not had much of a chance to take them outside yet. But, from my time with them in the gym and at work I can tell that I'm already in love. These shoes are game changing.

So light, really comfy, can't wait to try them out and about in the wild.

Very comfortable, very good cushioning and wearability. Quality materials and bright colors.

Very happy with te shoes, they are lightweight, breathable and comfortable. The only thing is that one shoe is already opening at the front where it is glued with the sole althought I only used it for one trip of 1 week and they didn't even got wet... this also might be a production error, due to that this only ocurred to one of the two shoes.
If this problem wouldn't have occurred I would recommend them 100%!

These shoes are awesome and I wear them everywhere. I have two pair now and I really don't want to wear other shoes. They are comfortable, supportive, and let me go from workouts to work to chores without ever feeling like my feet are getting tired.

It came bigger than expected. The shoe is really comfortable, and light, however I cannot really appreciate all of it, bc of the size.

First, I have to say that these shoes are incredibly light and comfortable! I love the elastic laces.
I haven't had the opportunity to test these shoes out with water yet - but I am looking forward to doing to in the coming months.
But! They've been shelved for now, as they do not hold up on a treadmill - the soles are starting to shave off in larger chunks and I don't want to wear them out before trying them on a trail. Fingers crossed that they're more durable outside, thought regardless I'll be wearing them as a casual shoe due to their comfort factor.

The shoe is really comfortable, but have not yet tested it in the water. The order process was, to be honest, a disaster through the Kickstarter app. The delay was very long and communication not pro active at all. In the end they solved the problem before my trip started, which is what counts. But in the end I'd probably have given it 5 stars if communication would have been good throughout the process and not only for the last 20%

I was very excited when I first saw your shoes. I was looking for a pair I could take travelling to Hawaii. A pair that offered comfort and support, could withstand swims and nature hikes, and that looked fresh for urban exploring.

For the most part, my Tropicfeel shoes fit this description. They're comfortable and supportive. They're super breathable and dry relatively quick. But I was a little disappointed to see the soles of the shoes wearing down only after a couple days and a couple hikes. The white rubber material around the sole is cracked and flaking off and a section of the grey rubber sole on one of the shoes is peeled up a bit. I can understand and accept normal wear-and-tear of shoes, but this seemed to happen rather quickly. And I felt bad losing flakes of my shoe on the beach in Hawaii. The rubber doesn't seem like the best quality when compared to my other pair of running shoes. Not as durable as I had hoped, to be honest. Is there anything you can do about this?

I also strongly encourage Tropicfeel to consider how you can integrate sustainability into how you operate and design your products (e.g. stronger, recycled rubber soles could have a lower impact and last longer). There's some really neat travel-minded apparel companies that are using recycled or natural materials, that are supporting conservation or community projects, and that are tying sustainability into their brand and story. Something to consider as you grow.

They look like in the picture pretty much, but honestly they don't feel great on the feet. Also, the sole could use some more grip, I find it quite slippery even for normal walking, can't imagine doing a hike in those. Last thing: the elastics are kinda weird and way too loose for me, but of course you can use the regular shoe laces. Haven't tested out how they dry yet. Positive thing: they really are very light weight.

Great shoes. I'd been looking for something for a while that was stylish, versatile and good quality when these caught my eye and I couldn't be happier!
I've read quite a few reviews complaining about the shoes being too small or cold in the winter, but I think the first point speaks to people's sizing choices rather than the quality of the shoe (I did size mine up a little rather than down) and as far as the second point goes, it's true that they are very breathable but this will be ideal for the summer. In the meantime I just wear them with some warmer socks and I'm absolutely fine! They're also really comfortable to wear.
Overall, great shoes. I'm already eyeing up a second pair.

Haven't had the chance to try them on outside since they seem to be more wearable with warm weather.
They look exactly as per the images but unfortunately the smell of plastic is quite strong.
Hopefully it will get better using and washing them.

Just amazing!!! I have got them also as present to my sister, she is currently travelling around Latin America and she loves them too!!! Just watch out on slippery floor ;o)
