It's important a direct contact with the program's ornanizators.
So, apreciated the online meetind with Laura and to have a nominated person, in this case Jonas, to clearify my doubts

Hi Linda I'm having problems communicating with my coordinator. I've been having problems with messages being delivered. I'm getting concerned as I've paid my deposit but not getting any responses. Thanks in advance

I will be participating in the sea turtle conservation from March 22nd to April 22nd. The organization and information are very professional. I am looking forward to the mission.
Kind regards, Erzsebet Laura Petöcz from Switzerland.

Lots of volunteer locations to chokes from.
Response Quick enough but no clear e-mail overviews and e-mail confirmation and what to bring etc. I needed to ask a few times about the correct venue of where i would volunteer. Everything is communicated via whatsapp, via different phone Numbers.

Hi, the experience was good. Firstly to book it but then when I had to change the dates I had to cancel the booking and start again because I couldn’t work out a way of changing the dates.
I’m not sure what else you can help me with, but I’m excited to find out when I finalise my plans for my trip to Peru.🇵🇪

Hi Janet,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us!
We’re glad to hear your feedback. Currently, it isn’t possible for applicants to change the dates directly in their application, but the host organization happily assists volunteers with that — and we see that your dates have already been updated.
We truly appreciate your input and will take your experience into account as we continue to improve our platform. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any further assistance — we’re always happy to help!
Warm regards,
Volunteer World Team

I’m about to embark on my third volunteer experience arranged through Volunteer World, with plans for many more. With so many opportunities available all over the world, there truly is something for everyone. I highly recommend jumping into the world of purposeful travel.
