I have just booked a trip to Sri Lanka for the summer. The support from volunteer world is so great I’ve gotten quick replies to all of my messages and I’ve had a zoom meeting to discuss my trip. I love the flex option too, this is definitely the best place to book!

Dear Volunteer World,
I am very happy to find your organization. Till this period everything was perfect and well organized... I hope my "mission" will be successfull, too:)))

So far, not so good. I am a first time volunteer and I have multiple questions that need answers. I pose my questions to the coordinator on October 2nd and I still have not gotten a response. I sent another message today.
Even though my participation starts on January 3rd 2022, I need to take advantage of airfare promotions available only if you buy your ticket early.
Additionally, as I am still working as an attorney, I need to know when my documents are due for me to get them done in between cases.
I hope to get an answer from the program coordinator within a few days. If I do not, I will probably have to reconsider my participation in the Morocco program, which would be a real disappointment.
Regards,
Michele

I am very satisfied with what's shown on the website - by the projects, the deals, the structure and the response of the coordinators.

I'm so excited to begin my adventure, and having so many choices in one location made the process easy. My questions were answered promptly and professionally. There was a little bit of info about the program I chose left off of the Volunteer World website. The project coordinator got it to me quickly and fully, but I would have been less reluctant if I had the full details at my fingertips.

Volunteer World has lots of great opportunities to help and make a change in the world. Its easy to find project that suits you and if you have any question it will get answered very quick. I got great help during my application process.
And now that I have been accepted the people from the organisation support me to get everything I need so that I am ready to help in Africa.

I had problems with the woman who connected me with the animal shelter. I find the the way in which she conducts isn't well understood and kind of messy which leads to confusion and misunderstanding.

Wirklich toll. Ich freue mich auf mein Projekt!
