I think they do wonderful things for the animals and applaud all their efforts. The accommodations for volunteers did not look at pictures and we didn’t stay because we could not adjust - while we were willing to be down and fort and help however possible - we needed to feel we had a clean place to sleep. It didn’t meet our expectations and hygiene level. D

Reserved and partly paid for. The only thing I need is the directions for transport from Liberia to Tambor Bay. But I’m not going until 2024 so I figured there would be time to get that information. Hopefully it will be everything I am hoping for - lots of turtle eggs, mamas and babies and not too hot/humid. I am bringing a personal fan and hoping that I don’t have to use it. Thanks.

In June 2023, I spent two eye-opening weeks in Sanyati with the Ratidzo Foundation.
The organisers, Edline and Richard, gave us a very warm welcome and immediately made us part of their daily work.
The work of the Ratidzo foudation trust is to improve the lives of the people of Sanyati. To do this, we helped to build a school library, repaint it, help pupils in a primary school and provide them with agricultural projects to help them improve their situation.
We had the opportunity to share our daily lives with the children and teenagers of Sanyati, but above all we had the chance to create real links and share moments of joy with them. We also shared some wonderful moments with Edline's family, who are originally from Sanyati.
The family spirit really touched us and made us feel at ease from day one.
These two weeks have changed me; I've learnt so much thanks to Edline and Richard. I understood that even a simple gesture can make someone happy. We realised how lucky we were.
The two weeks ended with a wonderful safari.
I thank Edline and Richard for this life changing experience.
