Volunteer World has created a platform that connects the volunteer to the program in an efficient and reliable way

I have chosen the program in Spain in the horse sanctuary that's practicing natural horsemanship. They also grow and harvest fruits and veggies in their land and eat vegetarian food. I think it will be the unique experience for me and I will learn a lot about the horses and farming. I will contribute my time and afford to help improving the sanctuary.
I have found the volunteer world website by accident, while browsing for the volunteering programs. The website is well-built and very handy, I could easily check the desired locations or programs. Linda, was very helpful and quick on responding, that is very important and gives the feeling of being in the right hands. Keep it up, guys :) And I'll definitely share my feedback after the trip. I like you too！

My experience with volunteer world was great and I would recommend it to everyone. I felt supported and well informed by the online help chat. There are a lot of programs and they are well explained in the website

The application process asks for a deposit to hold your spot. It was given. A deposit always implies a portion of the fees have hence been paid. That is not the case wtih your company. You keep the entire deposit, which was a good portion of the volunteer fee and then tell the person that they still have to pay the entire volunteer fee. If you wanted an administration fee, you should have said administration fee. Not deposit. At the very least, some of that deposit should have gone towards the volunteer fee. You were paid for doing almost nothing. I could have gone directly through the company myself and not paid an extra $400. When notified you did the usual "oops, we should look into our wording" and of course did nothing because this is completely a money making process for you guys. The volunteer funds go towards supporting the programs that they are paid towards. You, depositing fees straight into your pockets, is false adverstising and taking funds away that could further be donated towards programs, not towards a false front company. Not impressed at all. Many volunteers, like my daughter, are working hard to be able to afford to go on these program during their gap year, childern out of high school. Way to rip children and programs off. Not impressed at all.

Amazing and easy to use. Very helpful

I can't wait to get there and be part of this incredible team.

I really like the opportunity !!

Very clear communication, friendly staff and a lot of opportunities/ options.

Applying for volunteer work has never been easy until I stumbled upon this website. I’m thankful for the opportunities and ease it brings.

Everything was super easy and the people were always ready to answer to my questions!

Great platform to find a social project and communicate with the project. Great support!

I highly recomend

It's hard to define my experience here because it's only the beginning; but for the moment, the staff answered quickly to my questions.

Really good service with amazing opportunities. Really happy about my experience with project abroad.

Dear Linda,
your organization offers great programs, which in contrast to the majority of other volunteer programs, is affordable and an opportunity for a unique life experience. Having said that, I will surely recommend your organization to my friends and others.
Still I can only give you 4 stars ;) because in my case the social project is not answering my messages and giving me information regarding vaccinations, visa etc.
Maybe its just my German need for precission.
Kind regards from Hamburg
