It was enormously easy to find the forms and informations on the platform. I also appreciated the kind reminders to send my application so that I wouldn’t forget.

I will take part in volunteering in Africa for 3 months, starting in June!
I'm very exited and appreciate the great support I'm getting from Linda and her team!
I feel confident that my trip will be a great experience and I trust the volunteer world to be there for me if I need any help!

I found you very accommodating and informative. It would be good for future to let people know how many are on their volunteer project.

A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! This volunteer holiday was the greatest night mare and disappointment for me ever. The quality assurance that volunteerworld is priding themselves with, doesn't exist! I relied on their information given on the homepage and had to learn otherwise! I stayed at the Maldives and wanted to do some coral farming. I was dumped on an island full of garbage without any attention from the sun shaders team. Neither was I offered coral farming activities (this seems to be just a tourist gag) nor any other recreational activities there. I was relying on the volunteerworld symbols stating diving activities, excursions and suitable for single travelers. Neither of this information was true! No diving possibilities, no excursions took place or were possible nor was this island suitable for single female travellers as I had to experience the hard way. Given the costly fee they are taking I would recommend a stay on a resort. That costs the same and at least you can enjoy some of the beauty of the Maldives and not a devastated island with dead corals only.

I really liked to have a choice between so many different projects and eventually found the perfect one for myself. The website is very transparent, the registration and application process is easy and clear. I quickly received a response from the organisation after I posed some questions and soon received all the information needed to settle my decision and finalise my application as volunteer. I can't wait for the experience!
