BOOKING PROCESS

It would be helpful if the site stipulated countries where the visa for 30 days is automatic or say check this site and give a URL where prospective volunteers and check their status It would also be helpful if you could stipulate what to put on the arrival card - I have assumed the office address but the district and detail need to be specified - I spent some tine looking this up

I initiated a volunteer application and paid RM360 - this process is convoluted as it requires all sorts of documents from your side proving you are a registered organisation in Thailand. Others may have to produce that information? I am not going to get my RM360 back

I am pleased to have sorted the hotel for Sunday - I think you need to make it clear you only start on Monday (change the calendar on the site and sort it into week blocks - minimum1 week to maximum 4) . Please remove the green tick next to airport pick up on the main site as pick up is from the centre of Chiang Mai. I would also suggest that you make it very clear that you must book to stay in a hotel if you arrive earlier. Since pick up is 0900 - 0945 Monday , I imagine everyone will need to spend a night in a hotel on the Monday , perhaps a list of hotels would be helpful as I had to search for your office on Google Maps and identify a hotel.

I found the VW platform platform a bit challenging. A button labelled "Message Monique" addressed my email to a no-reply account at VW. A link for "Ecuador Visa Resources" returned 404. Another link also returned 404. On the upside, VW communication style is very much better than gvi.co.uk. 🙂
