good
one time i got a verification method saying i hadn't paid when it had actually gone through (which made it feel a bit scammy)
this was the only hiccup.

I felt safer booking through Volunteer World and thought all the information they provided was great and helped me made my decision to booking my volunteer program!

I have applied to two organizations, one of the organizations has not been very responsive or complete with their follow-through, the other organization has been spot on! The "Volunteer World" site however has been just fine and the variety of volunteer options sponsored is really well done.

Hi Barbara, thank you very much for your feedback. We're happy to hear that your experience with Volunteer World has been great. We're sorry about the responsiveness of one of the organisations - depending on where they are located, the availability of internet is sparse. Hence, they sometimes need a couple of days to answer. We wish you a wonderful time abroad!

The design of website is easy for searching. It'll be better if we can see the picture of the accommodation.

Volunteer World is a great agency, with a clear website, that helped to find the perfect volunteer project for me. They were there to help me with problems that I had with the application system, because I wanted to stay longer than the maximum stay. VoWo facilitated the process with the organisation and cleared all the circumstances that appeared, because of that special instance.
Furthermore I never had to wait long for a response and I could even call the office to get help. VoWo's work is awesome and I'm looking forward to my stay in Cape Town!

Hi Linda,
I applied for a program with Go Eco through Volunteer World.
Does Volunteer World certifies the organizations like Go Eco to be a reliable organization?
I have been communicating through email with Saul (GoEco), asking for more accurate information about the program like pictures of the accommodation or the activities I will be doing during my stay.
Can Volunteer World assure me Go Eco is a trustworthy organization?

The experience was awesome! I grew up in knowledge and as a person, I met incredible people, and learn about another culture. I would not think twice if I had the chance to go back!

Not trustworthy company. They want your money only. They promote programs without knowing how reliable they are. Then, when you have a problem with the program they are not responsible and they do not return the money of the program fee. DO NOT TRUST VOLUNEER WORLD.

Dear Angelica, Thank you for your open feedback. As you know, we already refunded the money you paid to our platform as a sign of goodwill. Furthermore, we tried to set up a mediation between you and the social project that you refused.

I am unsure what I am meant to be reviewing? My volunteering isn't until September 2017 and I've looked on your website a few times therefore I don't understand your continued request for feedback. Feedback on what? Your website or your product (volunteer work)?
Response from Volunteer World
Jun 21, 2017
Hi Yagoda, thank you for your feedback! The request we have sent to you refers to the use of our comparison platform. Since we are constantly improving our site and adapting it to the needs of the volunteers, it is important for us to recognise how satisfied you were with the process on our website.
We are sure you will enjoy an amazing time abroad - nevertheless, we are always happy to hear about your meaningful journey with Best Adventure Nepal after your return.
