I didn't start the experience itself yet, but so far I would say that the organization is really good; if I have a question I always get a reply right after so I would recommend this experience to anyone. I was looking for a place like this for years and fortunately i found it and I'm really glad for it.

What an awesome bunch of people. They've pretty much organised everything for me and helped me along every single step without me even having to ask for the help :) thank you so much. I can't wait to go on my adventure

I just paid my deposit with your company for 3 adults in the Maldives. However, I feel at edge to pay the 3100.00 us ( which is 4200.00$ can to a perfect stranger through western union. First, he stopped talking to me through your platform and befriended through Facebook and then after I told him that I would feel more comfortable talking to him through your platform, he continued talking to me to messenger and then he offered to talked through we chat. So, now I'm afraid to send the rest of the payment and lose it all. As he asked to be sent to his personal name. Could you please give me a phone number so that I can directly talk to you. We can FaceTime or Skype. $4000 is lot of money!!! My phone number is 13065960709. Thanks

Hi Lyane, thank you for your open feedback! We talked to the local project manager. He apologized for the off-site communication. As a relatively new member of Volunteer World, he unfortunately was not aware enough of our communication policies. Moreover, we just sent you positive reviews of former volunteers and their contact information. Last but not least, the NGO offers a cash settlement at the project site in order to reduce your financial risk to a minimum :) All the best, Linda Anderson
