I used the website to find my volunteer opportunity in Tanzania. It has been extremely useful: clear, transparent, easy to use and with a good bunch of different projects, all around the world.

It was a little confusing with the system as to whom I was communicating with and when the placement was secured but eventually the volunteering opportunity we wanted was confirmed so all good in the end. Really looking forward to going to Namibia.

Volunteer world have given me and opportunity to come to Ghana. I was allowed to ask as many questions as I liked which was really good. On each volunteer their is so much information so you can defiantly find the right volunteer role for you. As well as volunteer world letted me to change the number of weeks, whereas other companies wouldn't.

It was the kind of volunteerwork you dream and hear about. Everything you do or say is extremely appreciated and will be received with all the gratitude in the world. The children are loving and Windhoek is an ideal place to experience this side of Africa. VolunteerWorld makes it very easy to access and connect to this kind of wonderful projects.
PS Make sure everything (feedback & application procedure) is sorted out with VolunteerWorld, as they like things well sorted out.

I would recommend using Volunteer World to link with the available volunteer projects and opportunities in many countries around the world. I quickly and easily found exactly what I was looking for - the website is easy to navigate and the information provided was clear and easy to understand.
I am looking forward to my volunteering experience in Nepal in September this year and would like to thank Volunteer World for providing the information and assistance needed to make my dream a reality.

I found the website of Volunteer World very easy to navigate and found the location and a variety of programs that fit my interest. I was able to contact a real person right away and received a prompt, welcoming and informative reply. Once I chose a program, the manager of the program was extremely enthusiastic and helpful. I felt very supported and welcome!
The only thing I would suggest is that the prices for the programs and deposits be kept as current as possible. The price for the program I selected and the deposit were about 12% higher than the listed prices. I would therefore update the prices regularly or even list them slightly higher to avoid unpleasant surprises, especially since cost is often a discouraging factor to volunteer.
Other than that - well done!
I already recommended Volunteer World to a colleague and she is inspired to volunteer as well this summer!
