I booked a volunteer program in the Philippines through Volunteer Wold. I can not report anything about the project yet, because it will take place in late 2023.
The placement through Volunteer World was carried out perfectly. The communication between me and Volunteer World was always very good: quick and informative answers. The previous contact with the project contact person is also very good. The internet platform of Volunteer world is clear and very informative. After creating my own account, all communication took place via the account (as usual, still very good). Here you could also see exactly the status of the application as well as make the deposit.
I have not booked any other services through Volonteer World also I cannot write anything yet about how the support will be during my work for the project.
So far I can give 4-5 stars :).

Dealing with Volunteer World has been a very smooth experience. Dealing with Jamso Trainee has been a little bit tricky, firstly because of a language barrier - the coordinator I correspond with doesn’t have a full grasp of English, so doesn’t always understand my questions, and therefore doesn’t answer them. My placement starts this week so I have had many questions for her! Secondly, I would have liked a lot more information about everything to be provided up front, rather than my having to ask for it.
