DroiX i12 Multifunctional 2.4Ghz Wireless Keyboard QWERTY Touchpad
I bought a DroidBOX T8 TV box and received a keyboard and remote control with it. The keyboard was ok for my son, but I found it a little too small for me. I contacted the DroidBOX support team to enquire whether they had a compatible keyboard which was smaller than the one I had received. They suggested the i12 Multifunctional Wireless Keyboard. I was really pleased with my purchase. The keyboard is the size of a normal computer keyboard without the numbers on the side. It is so easy to use and very responsive. To set up I just inserted the USB and was ready to go. Very pleased with the keyboard and well done to the support team.

I'm not a techie by any means but this was really simple to set up in fact the only difficulty I had was because I put duff batteries in the remote doh !
Phoned technical helpdesk regarding the installation of 2 boxes in the same room (so I can watch to games at football at the same time :) who advised me to buy the VIP remote so they do not conflict which I would definitely recommend as its far less fiddly.

The only reason I have given DroidBOX four stars is that I haven't, actually, opened it yet, having purchased it as a Christmas present. However, I found the customer service/technical support team to be so helpful and, despite living abroad, I received my order within a few days and in excellent condition. So, this review is for super service alone. If the product is as good as the service, I am sure that recipient of my DroidBOX will add the 5th star and write his own review after Santa has been.

after purchasing a box from another provider who I received a terrible customer experience from I was sceptical about buying online again. What persuaded me was that Droidbox were willing to assist in helping me sort out the first box (when I received no response from the purchaser) and we're willing to assist both via email and telephone if necessary.
This persuaded me to order the second box from them instead. So glad I did.. you won't regret it.
Don't go with ANYBODY else.

Price, delivery and service were very good. I'm new to android so took a little getting used to but once Wookie installed was a lot easier for general use. Still a bit (lot) to learn but very pleased.

I've only known about these boxes for a month or so and I had already decided to cancel my Sky TV package as I was watching less of their content directly and instead enjoying IPlayer, YouTube and "other" streaming stuff including Showbox and football via my phone or PC.
I was looking into the capabilities of boxes such as the NowTV one and Fire sticks, and then someone alerted me to android boxes. Deep joy! As soon as I sussed out what was possible I was sure it was just a matter of which one to buy and from which company.
The choice wasn't difficult based on the support I could see that Droidbox offer such as YouTube videos, a good website and forum stuff too.
The products and reviews helped me decide on the T8-S OpenELEC unit and I have had it for a couple of weeks now. A nicely built unit with a Made in UK sticker on the underside (really? says the skeptic in me!). So far I have got it on wifi working well with The Wookie wizard installed and some apps such as BBC Iplayer = excellent, ITV = bit naff, C4 = good and Showbox = excellent for TV and movies. I also got Chrome up and running which was always a big plus to allow all my bookmarks to be at hand on my TV screen (compared to the naff internet provided by my 2013 LG smart TV which is too slow).
I've also got YouTube on the new box but the new version is not friendly - I still can't work out how to scroll down on the pages of content whereas the older version on my actual TV is fine even if it can be ratty on playback with alot of stopping after a short while saying "Loading". Any answers about the new design and page down capability??
The basic usage is ok but the understanding of Kodi usage and things such as wizards and repositories and all such stuff requires some homework to get things right. I wasn't sure I had got my Wookie installed properly even though it was working so I ended up doing it again with a Wipe Data ticked in the settings box which seemed to give the same as a factory reset and now I'm confident the Wookie is how it should be. Clever and convenient but customisable.
I've found numerous websites for help with Kodi apps and will slowly learn how to tailor my setup to how I want it. The forum site is ok but so far I reckon there is scope for a full tutorial website or even a purchasable pdf with help for the total newcomer on all things android box and Kodi - a lot of the guides on topics I see are still too assumptive that the reader knows what a wizard or repository actually are and are not particularly well written so come on Droidbox, you can do this!
Give us a sequence of steps to work through over the first few weeks of usage to get us from total novice to confident user able to tailor and add things without continually fearing a total cockup! Include things like the practical benefits of OpenELEC over standard android/Kodi and what can I do with the hard drive if I install one inside my T8-S?
The process so far is somewhat reminiscent of first time usage of a smartphone - a bit daunting and a sense of optimistic ignorance as to what I can do with this shiny new toy! I'm getting there though and I'm more than happy that it can do the things I want - all the TV, movies, and sport I could wish for, apps galore and proper internet capability.
Some questions to find answers too though such as webcam video usage for Skype and printing to a wifi printer but I'm sure the kit and the Droidbox people can help on any issues a buyer may have so I will finish by saying to any prospective buyer that they are in safe hands with Droidbox so go for it!
