For me it was a little difficult to set up but I expected that as my son normally sets things up but he is now in sunny autralia! I got there in the end so if I can do it anyone can. The staff at droid box super helpful and I am sure if I could not have installed they would have helped me. Had a droid box for years so I was updating. In fact I was so impressed with there knowledge and help in purchasing the correct box I bought one with a gaming pad for my nephews christmas present. Droid box is a good company and you will not go wrong buying from them even if you have not got a clue about digital boxes!

The box is great but not sure if I have set it up correctly, had to uninstall something and then install wookie, finally figured it out, a friend told me I needed to enter a username and password, found this on the droidbox website after a while, have entered it and nothing changed.
However, apart from the above I can watch the latest TV programmes and have found pretty much any film I've searched for and use it every night!

Best android TV box I've come across. I was torn between this and a Tronsmart. This one just appealed to me more.

I bought ts8 believing it would be fully loaded but it arrived with a letter saying that's no longer possible have tried to follow the links to load with little success if I'd known it wouldn't already be loaded I definitely would not have bought this item because I'm probably a technophobe and am struggling to get it working

Can't believe I waited so long to buy this box. The only suggestion I would give if you are uncertain is to watch YouTube videos of how to setup various addons and extras. When your box arrives, go straight to YouTube for a guide to setup

The Droidbox is a great bit of kit, and this is the second one I've owned. My only gripe is that I found it difficult to install the needed files to enable movie and TV streaming. There is a link to the Droidbox help centre provided, but I actually had to go to Google to find the help needed. I think clearer, step by step instructions would help those of us who are not computer wizards and don;t understand the concept of OpenELEC and Kodi.

I was invited to write this review by DoidBox. Funnily enough I had been thinking of writing anyway as I am really happy with the box. I had had another Android box for a bit over and year. It was of inferior spec but I could see the potential so I upgraded my internet and bought this box and now it really works well, very well. With the other box although I could watch movies and most TV I couldn't get watchable reliable live sport, but now I can.
I particularly like the OpenElec boot option, I find it much faster and simpler. The box itself is very well put together.
My only slight complaint is that the remote also controls my TV so sometimes I want to change something on the box and the TV changes. However, I have only had the box a week and haven't really bothered to try and address this, it may well prove easy to sort.
Overall I am very satisfied with the box.

We have now had our box for about 8 months, & I have to admit we never use normal TV anymore . The box is our saviour as we can watch anything we can think of and it saves us hundreds of pounds as we don't have to 0ay for sky channels anymore ! We would be lost without it & about 10 of our friends/ family have already bought one as we have told them about how great it is .
Great customer service too.
