DroiX iMXQpro (MXQ PRO)
Spoke to a sales person before buying, they didn't have the one I wanted in stock and he failed to mention they would be going on sale in the next couple of days. Setup was fairly straight forward, although the instructions I had were for a different box (T8 and not the K5) but managed to figure it out. Overall it's a bit expensive for what it is but I have a decent internet connection and it works fine.

Just like to say what a fantastic box this is, Iv'e had a few android boxes but this one is the bee's-knees. The customer service plus the forum and how - to page are great if you need advice. The box and the company get five stars from me.

We are in the early stages of setting up the box. After reAding reviews of which sites and apps to use I am sure once we know what portals to use it will be the best purchase of Christmas.

I was looking for a decent Android device to give me more functionality over the Chromecast and NowTV devices that I already had. The specs on this look great but I had nothing but problems.
The Good
- The remote is good and can be programmed to control some functions of the TV
The Bad
- The WiFi on it seems almost non-existent. It would barely get any download speed when the router was moved to within 6 feet. Not sure if my device had a fault, but basically the WiFi was unusable and I had to resort to buying Powerline adapters to give myself a wired connection
- The ROM on the device has no support for Widevine DRM. This is used by a number of apps that I'd hoped to use - Google Play Movies, Blinkbox, Channel 5's app etc. The All4 app doesn't work either but I'm not sure if that's a different problem

Overhaul very pleased with it, mine seems to have 3 lots of Kodi on it not sure if that's right or not but have installed the beast skin on one version and it certainly tranforms an android tv box into a totally improved experience. I am used to openelec but not sure which skins are compatible with that operating system so these kodi build skins are somthing I have been missing out on. Happy with the performance so far !

We were a little sceptical about buying this as we are not very technical minded . The product was very easy to setup and buying a separate keyboard was better than using the controller that comes with the box. Well pleased.

Had an old droid box for years and thought i would upgrade as a pressie for myself for christmas. Got aa remote and the keyboard at the same time.
Only issues so far was.
1. I had to calibrate the b52 remote using the youtube video.
2. When i leave the box for a long period it crashes. I then have to reboot it. This could be something silly. Will look into it in the new year (on holiday so only had a day to play with it before i had to fly out)
Once wookie was installed and updated it was streight forward as with the previous box i had. Just about to order anouther set now including a remote. :-)

Received the box just before Christmas and so far i can't find any negatives.
This is my first android box so i'm still finding my way around it and i'm amazed the the amount of stuff that's available, live sport, music, just about any TV programme or film that's ever been made including latest releases and access to the internet so i can surf the net and check my emails with no need to boot up my PC and all the channels that my satellite provider gives me.
These are just a few of the things iv'e discovered so far but so much more to find.
I'll be cancelling my subscription with my satellite provider and purchasing 2 more similar boxes for my two daughters to use in their rooms and will be around a grand a year better off in my bank account.
Many thanks DroidBOX from a very very happy customer :)
