A life-changer. A unique experience that I am extremely happy to have had. I wish I had taken more weeks instead of only 6 weeks. In all ways a great experience that I can only recommend no matter your age. Thanks to the staff - all the instructors that I had were much better than what I have tried in other places. And they have a passion for the ocean and sea life and the planet. And thanks to the wonderful volunteers I miss you all. I would love to come back.

What can I say? MCP became my home during the three months I spent there. I totally fell in love with that place!
The community way of living sharing similar daily routines and having people from all over the world around you is a very bonding experience. Walking around barefoot and living surrounded by nature makes it a wonderful experience :-) I did my divemaster with Jason as my instructor and he supported me to increase my self confidence in diving and gave me time to go over certain things again and again until I felt safe about it. During the course I appreciated a lot the time and patience spent on different skills/ exercises as well as his expertise. Jason and Kiri were always supportive if problems occured even if they were personal. All of the above made it a safe space to live in and I'm definitely coming back one day :D

This is without doubt the best decision I've made to come stay 5 months with MCP. Not only is the diving beautiful the base lovely the food fantastic and great to meet so many people. But without a doubt the best part of it is the staff and how hard they work they really go above and beyond to make you the best divers possible taking much more time than other places would to help you. Couldn't recommend MCP enough thank you so much for everything.

Volunteering at the forest conservation project was a transformative experience immersed in nature. The project's focus on preserving delicate ecosystems allowed me to contribute meaningfully through activities like tree planting trail maintenance and wildfire prevention. Volunteering at the forest conservation project not only deepened my love for nature but also instilled a sense of responsibility to protect our planet's vital green lungs for generations to come.

I had a really really good time at MCP. It is probably the best place for diving and/or learning how to dive as a non-diver. The instructors and staff members are amazing and I met wonderful people from all over the world. Besides making the experience to live in the middle of the jungle is truly unique. I can highly recommend this place for volunteer work

Séjours avec des activités scientifiques très solides. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'équipe encadrante.

Ce séjour est vraiment exceptionnel ! ce voyage est très enrichissant scientifiquement nous avons appris pleins choses sur les bonobos ! Les marches de nuit dans la foret pour aller observer les bonobos au lever du soleil est une aventure incroyable. L'encadrement est parfait ! Les encadrantes sont gentilles joyeuses et très amicales nous avons crée de super liens ! Et malgré la situation de RDC le séjour est extrêmement sécurisant grâce au encadrantes età l'organisation qui est parfaite. L'accueil des locaux et la découverte de leurs cultures sont très enrichissants ! Nous avons crée de super lien avec les membres de l'ONG et des habitants du village ! Je recommande vivement ce séjour !

Le séjour s'est très bien déroulé et j'en ressors totalement émerveillée. Tout m'a semblé fluide et parfaitement organisé. Bastien a su partager son enthousiasme et ses connaissances et la présence des gardes était un vrai plus que ce soit en support de manière générale mais aussi pour l'aspect culturel. Quant aux autres participants ils ont apporté leurs propres expériences et connaissances qui venaient alimenter les discussions. Je suis d'ailleurs repartie avec une belle liste de lecture. En quelques mots ce fut une expérience riche d'un point de vue naturaliste mais également culturel et humain. J'ai passé un si bon séjour que je peineà penserà des éléments d'amélioration

What awaits you is a sun-kissed place with the loveliest people and impressive nature. In the spirit of sustainability a way has been found here to bring animals people and nature into harmony with each other instead of making excuses. Off to Bukit Lawang I would say

I really really enjoyed my stay in Maria & Martin house.
The place is incredibly calm and relaxed on the top of a mountain with a beautiful view over the jungle. As a carpenter I helped Martin building a guesthouse in the area. But also he teaches me a lot about coffee which was super nice to learn ! I was most of the time with Martin cause they were in a middle of a moving. I really enjoyed our discussions in the evening the team work on the guesthouse. They made me feel super comfortable and like I was I part of the family together with Martin we went to the jungle to the village! it was a great cultural experience.
I also learned about the Batak culture : super interesting!
I could cook for myself and use every facility in the house.
This time was amazing thank you again !

I spent 1 Month and a half in the batu katak volunteer program. I did many activities such as school with children monitoring in the forest and a local agroforestry project ... You can discover many projects like coffee a health care center for local fauna ecotourism...

During my free time i was able to discover the cultural side of Sumatra with local people and to enjoy some beautiful places.
Nora and her team are really caring and professional. I Will do It again without a doubt I learned a lot of things and at the same time traveled in a beautiful way.

I was there one month with the team of Alobi the rescue center has 2 parts one for endemic species that can be released and one with wildlife from Indonesia in risk but most of them can't be released because of loss of habitat or traumatic experience. Working with them was an amazing experience and I get a lot of knowledge about them but also about problems that are making them risk illegal mines loss of forest and wildlife trade. This experience makes me more interested in supporting programs like this._x000B_Thanks to the ibu Bumi orangutan and Alobi foundation who make this possible.

I loved all of the staffs passion for what they did. Everyday was different and you never knew what you may see furthermore the research we are partaking in is very helpful to the reserve and therefore you feel helpful. The landscape is just incredible with the reserve having a real mix of plains and bush meaning you can feel like your in two completely different places one day to the next. Overall I had a throughly brilliant experience and highly recommended to anyone interested in conservation or who's looking to see more of the world .

To summarize I am incredibly happy that I found DAKTARI. Everything is safe here a good atmosphere you have a good place to sleep food and also time for yourself. Of course the standards are not what many people are used to in Europe but I think it's great to get an insight into another country. I would have liked to do more excursions. Thank you for your time.

Definitely one of the best 4 weeks of my life! Not only was the program itself amazing but the ImpacTrip co-ordinators Joana and Clara were excellent and offered support whenever needed! The diving itself was unbelievable and the instructors were both patient and helpful- (I had no previous diving experience and did not struggle at all to complete my qualifications. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering and would 100% come again!

Si vous êtesà la recherche d'une expérience où vous souhaitez redécouvrir le monde du cheval et d'une reconnexion avec la nature et vous même alors vous êtes au bon endroit !

J'ai vécu un merveilleux séjour de 3 semaines en faisant le programme Horsevolonteer auprès d'Isa et sa famille qui vous accueille avec joie et paix. J'ai tellement appris sur les chevaux je suis ravie. Mes apprentissages m'ont permis de beaucoup me remettre en question sur ce que je savais et faisais avec les chevaux. Et c'est ce que je recherchais : savoir travailler avec son cheval dans l'intérêt de chacun avec calme patience et progression. Les chevaux sont tellement heureux là bas et en très bonne santé etça fait plaisirà voir.
Isa partage sa passion et son quotidien avec vous elle vous enseigne tout ce qu'il faut pour que vous puissiez au mieux franchir les étapes et aussi vous permettre de donner le meilleur de vous même que ce soità cheval au travail au sol ou encore dans les écuries. Maîtres mots : patience volonté et observation.

J'ai adoré vivre avec le troupeau s'occuper des chevaux toute la matinée et prendre du temps pour soi l'après-midi. Isolé de la ville dans la montagne vous pourrez profitez des papillons oiseaux et air fraisà foison. Le meilleur est de traîner dans le pré avec tous les chevaux.
Un grand mercià Anna qui nous a préparé nos délicieux repas quotidiens avec le lait beurre yaourt et oeufs de la maison. Manger des fruits frais découvrir de nouveaux légumes et s'acclimaterà une alimentation principalement végétarienne a été très ressourçant pour mon estomac. Aussi pas d'inquiétude l'eau est potable sur place et elle est même très bonne.

Malgré une petite appréhension de faire mon séjour pendant la saison des pluies en juillet et j'ai été ravie car même s'il pleuvait souvent c'était des averses assez courtes en journée il pleut principalement la nuit. Le temps change beaucoup il y a donc souvent des nuages maisça permet qu'il ne fasse pas trop chaud et c'était parfait. Et puis si la pluie ne nous permet pas de faire ce qui est prévue ce n'est pas grave on s'adapte.

Il faut malgré tout prévoir un budget suffisant si vous voulez sortir de la ferme le WE pour visiter le pays car cela dépend ce que vous voulez faire mais certaines sortie/visite peuvent être un peu chère mais cela en vaut vraiment la peine car le Costa Rica est composé d'une telle richesse végétale et animale qu'il serait dommage de ne pas s'en donner les moyens. Et les gens au Costa Rica sont très accueillants !
