Received custom size white oak butcher block island top 1 month after order date. We finished this butcher block top with Odie's Oil and love how it looks in my kitchen. There were some imperfections: a ding (like it may have been dropped) and vertical scratch on one edge (was able to sand out) and a small gouge on the top that was too deep to sand out completely. These are not noticeable unless you look closely. I'm very happy with the butcher block!

After surviving hurricane Michael we continued to build our home in Florida. I’ve always loved natural wood countertops and was really excited to find Hardwood Lumber. The custom perfect fit is amazing. We went with 1-3/4” and it’s perfect. Any thicker would look too chunky. Luckily Lowe’s was delivering our appliances at the same time so with a big tip they helped us move them. So heavy once they were in place there wasn’t any moving them. We finished with Waterlox sealer 2 coats then satin 2 coats. It looks natural and the water beads up. Came slightly damaged but the guys put the damaged side facing the wall so no worries! I love love them!

I am a general contractor in baltimore, and had a customer with a unique request for a large butcher block counter. Hardwood lumber company helped me fill this request with ease and accuracy. The ordering process was stream line and easy to navigate. And the product delivered was exactly what I ordered. I chose to apply the finsh myself so I ordered a unfinished top and was happy to find that it was perfectly sanded and took very little prep work to for the staining process.
