love the table top.. terrible packaging
Verified Buyer
Round Beech Edge Grain Butcher Block Table Top
The table top is beautiful. It was damaged a bit on the edges due to terrible packaging that did not survive the shipping process. It was on a raw edge on the back of the truck when it arrived with some scratching/damage. When you spend $1500 on a table top, I think a minimal expectation is that it is wrapped adequately for transit. Not sure I would purchase from here again due to the inadequate packaging.

Color match is good…
Verified Buyer
Stain Match Service Fee
The color match is pretty good. The clear coat finish completely missed the mark from the floor sample I shipped up to have matched. I’m perplexed with the finished coat. Lucky my clients are ok with it. Unfortunately, I have had to order flooring planks for the landing, not so much for the color but to match the “clear coat”. Otherwise, I recommend.

Restored a Mudroom Bench
Verified Buyer
Hickory Signature Blended Grain Butcher Block Countertop
I used the purchased butcherblock to restore a mudroom bench. The bench was nice with a metal frame but the original top was some type of composite trash and delaminated when some rain came in the window above it. No worries with the butcherblock, It has 7 coats of varnish and looks great. Nice product, delivered as described. I would have added a pic but do not see a way to do that.

Hard Maple Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
First one arrived with a crack and some marred portions of the top. They agreed to send a replacement. Second one arrived with more marring around the edges (bad routing) and on top that required sanding. Email to customer service ignored this time.

We ordered a bartop and a countertop for our back bar and they are absolutely beautiful. We had a sink cut out and it was done exactly to our dimensions. I was a little nervous purchasing on line without seeing it in person but so happy we did. Hoping to enjoy many years of enjoyment from our new bar area!

Maple Edge Grain (Butcher Block) Countertop #3503(1.5"-20"-46")
Had an unique and very specific need for a hardwood plank. No local company or mill could provide or inexpensively set up to produce a one off plank. Through an extraordinary quirk of chance I came across Hardwood Lumber's online catalog where I found this "second" piece of hardwood in your catalog. It measured 20" x 46" x 1 1/2" precisely the specs I required (and it was milled and finished). All things considered, Hardwood Lumber's asking price was incredibly reasonable. For me it was perfect and plainly, whatever the flaw it's undetectable. Attached photo is the result. Paul Larner
