I bought the board to use as a drop down folding table in a small laundry room and was completely satisfied with my purchase. I will be purchasing at least 2 more boards for shelving. I recommend Hardwood Lumber Co. for delivering the product exactly as promised.

Communication was good, construction and shipping was fast. This was a relatively small piece we are using as a wall cap for a kitchen island/peninsula. Needed a good match on existing flooring/cabinets and this came out perfect.

Rustic Hickory Backsplash
All in all these countertops were exceptionally made well. The ordering process was easy and the follow up for specific details on my project was great. The countertops were packaged excellently and arrived without any issues. The measurements were exactly on point and the cabinets and backboards fit perfectly.
The only reason it is not receiving g 5 stars is because of the finish. It all seems to be one color instead of any variations in color. I understand there is always a chance the color will not look exactly like the online images, but our expectations were a little different. So probably 4 stars on me instead of the company. Never the less, the quality of the staining and sealing was excellent and no issues there. I would highly recommend getting the color matching service before making a heavy financial investment. It is probably worth it so there are no surprises. But even then I am not sure if it will show you any color variations in the wood staining.
Overall, we are highly satisfied and highly recommend Hardwood Lumber Co.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a smooth ordering experience, that our team was able to help with the details of your project, and that your countertops arrived safely and fit your cabinets and backboards perfectly.
We also truly appreciate your honest feedback regarding the stain color and wood variations. Natural wood can have beautiful variations from piece to piece, and we understand how important it is to have a clear expectation of the finished color before making such a significant investment. Your recommendation of our color matching service is a great suggestion for future customers.
Most importantly, we’re so happy to hear that you’re pleased with the quality, staining, sealing, and overall craftsmanship. Thank you again for choosing Hardwood Lumber Co.

I have made 2 purchases from them. The first is a jatoba center island countertop and the second is 5 sections of premium dark walnut countertops
They are ALL amazing. I chose to finish them myself. They arrived well
Packaged, on time, and undamaged
They finished easily and beautifully
I had them do some odd cuts around a corner as well as cut out the hole for my new kitchen sink
It was done exactly to the spec I sent them
Absolutely awesome
Thank you
