Hardwood lumber hits another home run. We have purchased multiple hickory floating shelves in the past and this time we added a butcher block backboard for the coat hooks. Came out awesome !!

White Oak Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
After not being able to find the size and wood type butcher block countertop locally, we ordered from Hardwood Lumber Company. Our 383 pound, 8' by 48" white oak countertop is GORGEOUS! We couldn't be more pleased! But here's a tip, unless you have a bunch of really strong friends, I highly recommend paying for the White Glove delivery. it's money very well spent!

Premium Walnut Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
This wood is excellent quality for the price. If you're buying a larger slab, just be patient with any warping. If needed, you can usually work it out by placing weights on it and flipping it over a few times. Overall, it's a great value.

Walnut End Grain Butcher Block Countertop
I ordered this piece to top a stand-alone base cabinet which I installed at the end of my kitchen island. I was unlikely to be able to match the existing countertop, and recalled my grandmother's butcher block countertop as being beautiful and practical. I went with walnut because of the walnut stained hardwood floors and much walnut throughout my century home. I'm very happy with how this looks. I have yet to cut anything on it, although my grandmother cut on hers. I expect I will use my cutting boards instead, but it's good to know that if I chose to, this piece would be up for it!
