I ordered a maple butcher block countertop at custom sizes. It showed up very well packaged and protected. The sizes were spot on. The slab was beautifully constructed with how the grains of the boards flowed. I will use them again when i do the kitchen coutertops.

Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
Purchased three ~5 foot sections of Brazilian Cherry wide plank as countertop for a large family room built-in (Cabinets, shelves, elect fireplace, cooler, bar, A/V entertainment). Got EXACTLY what I ordered, with specifically finished edges as desired on each piece. I applied a Varathane finish expecting this counter section of the built in will need to be durable and rugged.
Exceptionally pleased with quality and look!

Poplar Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
I bought the 1” poplar edge grain butcher block countertops with a square edge for my rental property. I bought poplar because it was on sale. I stained them a dark grey and they look fabulous. The stain took out all of the green that is in poplar naturally. They were delivered on time and in great shape. The only problem we had was some warping but that was our fault. When they arrived we were not quite ready for them so they sat for about 2 weeks and we didn’t discover they were warped until we got ready to use them. We sat some heavy items on them and they laid down. I would suggest if you purchase countertops they need to be installed soon after they arrive. My husband routered the edges a little which saved us some money. Also if you are doing them yourself it was less expensive than having someone come out and put in laminate not to mention they look a lot better than laminate. We will be buying some more in a few months for the countertops we are putting in our house.
