White Oak Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
I am disappointed ☹️ the white oak butcher block countertop is absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. It took a very long time to get to us understandably. However, for the price we paid we expected a smoother finish. There were rough spots. We asked for 1/8 radius edge on all fours sides and one side missed we sanded that ourselves. We found “splinty” areas we had to sand down and one corner bashed in from delivery and another edge punctured. All of which we sanded, it’s wood. The most concerning issue is craftsmanship a piece of wood right down the middle must have spilt during planing when they were making it because there GLUE in two spots and you can see the split that cannot be sanded down or hidden and that is VERY disappointing. I sent pictures via email to their team and an email with these issues a few days ago and still no response.

The material is excellent, and carefully shipped. Measurements were perfect, and the countertops went together perfectly (though you folks should send an Allen wrench with the specialized joint bolts--even my Ace Hardware man was puzzled until he found the hex openings).
While the wood was mineral-oil finished, hat's a good START. Remind your customers to continue heavy oiling for a while--our counters are still vert thirsty after a few months.
And, yes, I'd recommend or use your products again.
