Just an amazing cutting board. It is simply beautiful and I can't say enough positive things about it. Friends love the look of it too! My board was sanded and smooth as well.

Hard Maple End Grain Butcher Block Cutting Board
I can't say enough positive things about this cutting board! It has beaten every expectation that I have had and is by far the best quality cutting board I have seen. Even the individual pieces making up the cutting board are perfectly cut (not just scraps glued together) and is put together to make a pattern that not only looks great, but also improves the strength of the board.
Hardwood Lumber Co was the only store I could find where you could specify exactly what you wanted down to the smallest detail. Of course, this means everything is custom made and takes some time. All in all mine took about 6 weeks from order to delivery and is well worth the wait! HLC does email you status updates along the way, but it can be weeks in-between updates as an FYI. With that said, again well worth the wait!

Hickory Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
We had a great experience with hardwood lumber, we sent them our design for our custom desktop and it turned out beautiful. The wood is gorgeous and it was super easy to put together with the parts they sent. Customer service was great as well when we called to make sure we were submitting our design plans correctly. Shipping took a little longer but overall great experience.

Clear Cherry Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
We have had wood counters in various houses. Comparatively this piece we purchased for a bathroom is beautiful — very well made. We are extremely pleased. It was our first time buying from an online source but they did a great job, kept us updated on where the process was and package the piece exceptionally well. I would absolutely buy again.

Red Oak Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
I bought and received a well-made, wide, “square,” unfinished, red-oak plank/counter-top that would make my carpenter friends smile.
I used this fine, unfinished, red-oak plank/counter-top to create a fold-down wall-table in my laundry-room on which to fold clothing taken from the dryer.
I softened the squared-edges with an electric sander and applied several coats of clear polyurethane to finish it. It turned out great!
It’s beautiful and matches my red-oak flooring!
Based on this purchase, I’d buy from and highly recommend the Hardwood Lumber Co.’s products.

Awesome craftsmanship.
We were worried that buying on line sight unseen but don’t be. The quality of our butcher block top was fantastic.
The team there was quick to handle our shipping questions and issues as well.

Grey Elm Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
The Grey Elm countertops that we ordered were more beautiful than I could have imagined! We get so many compliments on them. They arrived well packaged and in good shape. The Fedex delivery was a disappointment. They literally dropped it at the end of their truck and left even though they had equipment to move it to our front gate/door which is what we expected as per contract. Thankfully our contractor was there and assisted with moving since they were very heavy.

Hard Maple Landing Tread
I purchased the hard maple landing tread, in two sizes, with tread finish, in semi-gloss. They are so beautiful and nicely finished. It was a bit anxiety producing to actually cut them for installation! I was pairing them with cork flooring that laid about 1/16" lower than the treads. Had to run the treads through the table saw to reduce height so we could get a even transition. When all said and done, this is a beautiful product and looks fabulous. Now, time to buy the stair treads and risers. I have no hesitation to buy this product from this company. It is worth the money.

Poplar Floating Shelf
Great quality, both the wood and the brackets. I don’t know if it was necessary but I marked each set (I got 4 shelves) for orientation to assure fit and avoid frustration.
