I looked extensively online and at the local stores and HLC looked like the best look for the best price. I ordered.
Didn't know what to expect. They took about 4 weeks to get. They came bundled nice on a pallet. I sanded them, oiled all sides and then installed them. After I put 3 coats of polyurethane on them and they look great. They are a quality butcher block. The piece we cut off is our cutting block on the counter.

This product worked perfectly for garage stairs upgrade. I used the 36” red oak treads in conjunction with a Fast-Stairs metal 6 step kit that I modified to 5 steps. The treads look terrific. I did not finish them and used inexpensive anti slip runners from Lowe’s. Put those down with carpet tape. Huge improvement to the old carpet covered steps that were original equipment in my 43 year old house!
