This is my first time trying DAO, but under the guidance of my allergist, I’ve been taking more than double doses of H1 and H2 blockers, as well as vitamin C. So far nothing has helped as much as this DAO (on top of everything else), specifically with facial flushing and what I can only call weird heat, lol. I’m so relieved to see some improvement that doesn’t depend on more H1 blockers, which have caused a significant amount of weight gain. So far my ideal dose seems to be 1 before breakfast, 1 before my main meal (generally a late lunch), and 2 shortly before bed. I don’t think I’ll be able to maintain that amount for the long-term, but I’m hopeful that I won’t need that many pills/day forever.
