I had high hopes for this as my brother has the other model with the hose but unfortunately it is not great and I have had to return it.

Not as cooling as an air conditioning unit but perfect for cooling a small bedroom with much lower running costs

This is my second Pro breeze Fan, I bought one two years ago and have been so pleased with it I decided to buy again from pro breeze.
Pro breeze are quick on their delivery. It came well packed. It's easy to assemble and has a strong air flow to cool you down quickly. When needed The remote is easy to use, the Fan is suitable for any room, and there is a quiet setting for bedroom use. Thank You. Josie

excellent cooling on the hottest day

OmniAir 5L Evaporative Air Cooler & Portable Tower Fan With Humidification Modes
Excellent cooling with the ice blocks added to the water tank. Just kept switching them out for dress ones and it cooled the whole room down really noticeably on the lowest setting. Remote works great so no need to get up to adjust it. A bit fiddly to take the water tank out, But if you just use a jug to fill it there’s no need to remove the tank. Really good all round fan/cooler

7000 BTU 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidification Function
I got this for my bedroom but realised that the window would not opened properly so have been using it in my very large living area and I am extremely surprised how such a small unit can call down a large space.

OmniAir 5L Evaporative Air Cooler & Portable Tower Fan With Humidification Modes
Useless overpriced fan that just soaks your windows with moisture whilst not blowing any colder air than a standard fan. Customer service terrible. Avoid this product and company

Really easy set up. Easy controls, good choice of settings and powerful enough to keep a room of around 6m by 5m cool and breezy.

10L Portable Air Cooler with Advanced Cooling Technology - 4 Operating Modes
Bought this for my daughter as an air con alternative.
Arrived promptly, easy to unpack and had it working in minutes.
Early reports are she is very happy with the 'happy air' as are her pets in the recent heat wave.
Worth every penny and none of the hassle of siting it near a window and fitting the opening fixtures to accommodate the bulky hose that comes with air-con units making it very mobile and easy to transport from one room to the next.

Easy to use and blows out lovely cool air. It is relatively quiet whilst still able to churn our sufficient amounts of cool air

Better than a fan (just)

10L Portable Air Cooler with Advanced Cooling Technology - 4 Operating Modes
Very light portable unit. Ideal if sat in front or close by. Since you need to add water for the cooling effect and optional 2 ice packs supplied, initially you get cool cold air blast but this soon disappears as the ice packs thraw. Also unlike air con you really need to keep a window or door open since after a few hours the air is so hot and humid close on 80% humidity. For short term use ie couple of hours does give a cooling effect especially if sat close to but don't expect the temperature to drop. In conclusion would say better than a fan (just) if used for short periods otherwise becomes too hot and humid.

This air cooler is easy to work and very quiet. However, even with using the ice packs, I found it didn't cool the room as much as I thought it would.

OmniAir 41" Premium Bladeless Tower Fan and Air Purifier with Smart App Control - Black
I've only had the fan a few days but it's really quiet and effective. I wouldn't bother paying the extra for the app. It's a smart piece of equipment. But very big. It's another piece if furniture in the house.

Looks good and is effective. But is hugely, almost unbelievably noisy, very heavy and with no carry handles it’s a beast to move around.
