This is an absolute must during the summer. I donât find it to be particularly noisy and in fact the white noise I now find helpful for me getting to sleep.

OmniAir 7L Evaporative Air Cooler & Portable Tower Fan With Humidification Modes
I ordered this before the heatwaves started as I wanted to replace a normal fan without spending the money on an AC unit. At first I wasnât sure but now I have got used to the settings itâs been a life saver in the heat! Having the water cool system means itâs not just blowing hot air around but blowing cool air on to you - the night mode is great because itâs quieter and just keeps your skin cool without blasting.

AirFlo Plus⢠44" Hybrid Pedestal Fan - Ultra-Quiet Air Circulator - White/Grey
The Pro Breeze pedastal fan is very smart and extremely sturdy. Not overly noisy on maximum speed (9 speeds). With this ongoing extreme heat this year I would have appreciated the choice of bigger fan blades. But over all a good choice of a quality fan that looks like it will last for a long time.

12,000 BTU 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidification Function - Smart Wifi App
The AC is great and definitely cools down the rooms really nicely. It is quite loud and the noise it makes when it switches on or off (when it reaches the desired temperature it switches to fan) is quite loud. It also doesnât cool the room down below 24 on really hot days. When itâs over 30 degrees outside our smallest double with one window doesnât go below 24 degrees. Which is a comfortable temperature but is a limitation. But I would happily get a second unit in the future

9000 BTU 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidification Function - Smart Wifi App
It works well. We haven't used window kit so it could work better but we just try and block around the pipe and bring our roller blind down the rest of the way. Still much colder than a fan. But the noise is loud. No way I could sleep with it, it sounds like a jet engine but I think that's the case with most portable units. Also the internal drainage release is ridiculously low so you'd have to lift unit and tip it. We keep the small pipe supplied connected for continuous drainage and let the water go in a bucket as it runs. This works well. I'd rather have it then not and I think it was good for the price (can't remember but under ÂŁ400). We run it and wear noise cancelling headphones and then turn it off to sleep. It has made the hot weather more bearable inside overall.

This is the four time Iâve purchased from Pro Breeze for myself and customers. The service has been brilliant on all orders and the delivery has been very quick, and all have been good quality products. Got last one just in time for the heat wave a godsend for my parent in a care home.

12,000 BTU 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner, Heater with Dehumidification Function - Smart Wifi App
I have only used the air conditioner part currently. It works well in a single room.
As I moved it around the house I didnât seal a window but used the curtains to keep the heat out. This worked well but did probably affect the efficiency. My electric bill was not affected by the use that I could notice. The only downside is the difficulty of moving it from too to room. We have a combination of hard floor and carpet. I found removing the pipe and pushing it without improved stability and guidance. Itâs easy to reconnect and now Iâve got the hang of it, simple.
The machine is heavy so it doesnât get moved up/ down the stairs. This would definitely be a 2 person job, even if a person was strong enough to do it alone the size of the machine would make it dangerous.
This summer it has definitely been my best buy. My grandchildren sleep through the night with it on, even though it makes quite a noise especially in the quiet of the night.

9000 BTU 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidification Function - Smart Wifi App
Itâs a fairly good unit. Takes temperature down about 5-6 degrees off ambient temperature only. Very noisy on full strength fan. Shame the fan blower direction can only be adjusted by hand and doesnât oscillate. Exhaust hose is ok but could have been longer making more choices for positioning of the unit. The window seal is absolutely useless. Doesnât stick so constantly falling off. Itâs generic size so completely too long. I had to buy heavy duty sticky Velcro tape. Took ages to remove the old residue. For that reason I probably wouldnât recommend it to friends.
