Dehumidifier noisier than expected. We have this on the landing, yes it works okay, but we have to keep our bedroom door closed.

10L Desiccant Dehumidifier With Heating Setting
We bought a dehumidifer about two weeks ago and have already fully anthropomorphised it as our grumpy little helper. When you go into its room it cranks up to warp speed so either there's a hidden motion sensor or the humidity detector is really accurate. My partner and I now refer to ourselves as "the moist ones" because it happily goes along on low speed until you disturb it.
Seriously, it's a really great product and it's been pretty shocking to see how much water get slurped out of a seemingly dry room. Makes me feel bad about not getting one until now. It has really helped with drying wet washing and heating otherwise radiator-defying areas.
I haven't had any direct contact with the company and in fact they never responded when I asked a question through the contact form. But it did arrive in the promised 24 hrs

20L Dehumidifier with Max Extraction and Laundry Mode
I've been thinking for a whiles about purchasing a dehumidifier and finally bit the bullet and brought one. The dehumidifier works so well and runs quieter than expected. I can't believe the water that it collected already. The laundry mode is fantastic as well drys the clothes on the airer quickly with the need to tumble dry.
Thanks for a great product.

Only thing letting it down is the minimum temperature setting is 15 deg C. I would like it to have a frost guard

OmniDry 12L Quiet Low Energy Dehumidifier - White
I was getting a lot of condensation on my windows every morning and my usual crystal containers weren't powerful enough so I decided to get an electric dehumidifier which would also help in keeping the condensation at bay whilst I had clothes drying in the house.
I have only used my machine for four mornings, for approximately one hour each day. Today, day 4 the humidity level seemed to reach its target quicker than normal and there was a lot less condensation on the windows. I am yet to try the machine when I have damp washing in the house. The machine is very quiet. It is early days but up to now I am very happy with the results
