Surprisingly efficient. My heating failed at the beginning of last winter too late to get a new system before the coldest weather. I bought this plus a different electric fire to keep my living room warm. At first I was doubtful as it didn't seem to heat much but once I realised it was designed to run more long-term rather than instant heat It really worked. I was also surprised at the running costs as it didn't send my electricity bills through the roof.

As reported by other customers. This machine may work for a while and then it just stops. Mine after 16 months others reported shorter. The seller (One Retail Group) has refused to repair it even though I quoted my rights un the Consumer act 2015. Other people have just given up. The reviews for this company show 95% satisfaction rate and that probably tells you what you need to know. Im not going to say dont buy - avoid etc as it seems 95% of people think this is fine. I dont and I wish I read the reviews before buying. Im now at the stage of writing to the directors to explain why they are now breaking the law by denying my rights. By the way if you don't already know that you have the right to expect reasonable service from a product like this, basically the 12 month warranty does not wash in UK and EU law. Goods must be serviceable for a reasonable time and with some product that 6 six years. That the law. So Im now pursuing action by writing to the directors which is only fair I think. If they decide to fix this problem for me I will update this review accordingly. Dont hold your breath eh !

I wasn't expecting this to feel as solid as it does, but the build quality is genuinely impressive. The base is wide and quite heavy, which makes a big difference - it feels stable and doesn't wobble even on higher speeds.

Assembly was straightforward and only took a few minutes. Everything fits together properly and doesn't feel flimsy or cheap.

In terms of performance, the airflow is strong and consistent. Even on lower settings you get a noticeable breeze, and the higher speeds are powerful enough to cool a room quickly. The oscillation works smoothly and spreads the air well rather than just blowing in one spot.

Got this machine less than a year ago (August 2025) and I have used it regularly, pretty much everyday. Now it no longer works, I turn on the machine and the tray moves into position and fills up with water, but then the ‘ice full' icon lights up red and the machine stops… even tho there's no ice in the machine.

Probably should've spent a little more money to get something more reliable.

The Pro Breeze AirFlo Slim 43 inch Pedestal Fan is a nice fan - good quality, effective and with lots of control options. It is solidly built with a heavy base and 3 metal uprights which just screw together. The last of these has the motor unit already attached. The motor housing, fan blades and the cage are all plastic, but feel solid/well made. It is very easy to assemble, by following the clear instructions in the manual. It took me less than 10 minutes. There are 9 power settings and although none are truly silent, levels 1-3 are whisper quiet and hardly noticeable. At all settings there is not the slightest rattle or shake, and there is no sound from the motor - all the noise is just the sound of the wind blowing from the blades. Levels 1-3 give a gentle cooling breeze, by the time you get to 6 it is strong enough to move curtains and blow papers off a desk and level 9 is gale force'. Three minor niggles: 1. It says in the product description that it is height adjustable. I thought this meant it has a telescopic stand. It does not. Height can only be adjusted by changing the number of uprights. 2. The oscillation has only one setting, where it rotates through a full 95 degrees. It would be nice to be able to adjust this to a wide or narrow arc depending on the room (in my office it ends up blowing into the wall at the end of it's travel). 3. The power cord is too short. You need to place the fan within 1m of a power socket or use an extension cord.

Used this fan for the first time last night and I was genuinely impressed. Setup was quick and the controls were very easy to figure out. The airflow is much stronger than I expected, and having different speed settings made it easy to find the perfect level for sleeping. I mostly used sleep mode, which was very quiet and didn't disturb me at all. The oscillation helped cool the whole room evenly, and the remote was really handy so I didn't have to get up. It also feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy like some fans I've had before. After one night of use, I'm pleased with it and would recommend it.

This Tower Fan looks impressive and feels both strong and durable. In a black colour, it looks sleek and contemporary and of good quality. It is a practical size, and with 9 speed settings and adjustable wind speeds, it is certainly powerful enough to cool a room on a hot day.
The fan has a vertical tilt and can be set to oscillate if required and does this very smoothly. There is a sleep, normal and natural mode to select, and the fan is as good as silent when I use it at night in my bedroom. I do still consider that the running is quiet on the other modes too. The 9 hour timer function is very useful at night. The fan can be operated using the touch panel on the stand of the fan where there is a clear LED display, or alternatively, there is a useful remote control which is very simple to operate. There are clearly written instructions included which are simple to follow. I think the performance of this fan is excellent, and very good value and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
The base is strong and sturdy and sits without wobble or movement, and takes up very little space. I am really very pleased with the quality and the performance.

I ordered this Pro Breeze Airflo Slim 43 inch pedestal fan to replace an older one that not only had become noisy, but I really wanted better control of it from my bed, rather than having to get out to switch it on and off and alter speeds.

The Pro Breeze appeared to offer everything I wanted including, a remote, timer and quiet modes.

I put it together, which pretty much is toolless except for lightning one screw on the fan cowling.

It is height adjustable, but this is only by removing either one or two of the lower poles, they just screw in and out. Im happy to keep it at full height, but there is options of you want it lower.

It comes with a remote control and 2 x AAA batteries to fit into it. The pedestal fan has three buttons to control it and the remote has a lot more making it more handy to use.

It has 9 speed modes, 1 is quiet and 9 is loud, the obvious difference here being the airflow at 9 is like a good windy storm.

The remote allows you to set the fan to sleep mode, normal or natural. Sleep and natural your limited to three speeds the sleep mode is particularly quiet but still gives off a cooling breeze.

Quality is very good, with the base being particularly solid and leaving me no worries about it falling over.

The fan can be switched to oscillating either by the remote or the button on the pedestal. You can manually alter the angle of the fan easily enough.

It took up slightly less space than my previous fan,that had four long feet on it and it just looks much nicer and modern in the bedroom than that older one.

This fan works very well and, considering it costs just under�60 at time of writing my review, it's good value for money.

It requires a small amount of assembly, which was straight forward. It's very sturdy once built. It comes with a small remote control and batteries are included. There's just enough power cable length included. You can manually adjust the angle of the fan head on the stand to direct it down, up or anything in between.

It performs well when you switch it on. The 9 air flow speeds are sensibly set. The oscillation to vary the direction of air flow is smooth and effective. On its lowest setting it's really quiet. On the highest speed, it's noticeably louder, but not overly loud for the size of fan - perfectly acceptable I think. The remote control requires a line of set but works well. There's a handy display on the stand that shows important info i.e. fan speed and you can control the fan from the panel on the stand too.

This fan does work, and speeds are good, oscillates well and its easy enough to adjust the height. It is mainly well made although the fan and the cage that surrounds it is of rather thinner plastic that I expected but cage does cover the blade well and no fingers are going to get through it. You Can have the head oscillating in different positions rather than just straight across, you can point the head up and it will oscillate across in that position.

It is easy to put together and you have the options of using remote control or touch buttons on the stand to operate it. All aspects of the fan are well thought out - stand in front of it and you are rapidly cooled. It would be the perfect fan for me but for one rather big thing.

It is very, very noisy.

It goes round silently yet when plugged in and switched on it suddenly makes a rattling sound as the fan which then will ease off and then comes back over and over. I did think maybe I had not fitted it together properly as you have to put the fan and its cage on yourself as well as placing the poles for the stand so I have asked 6 others to all try and put it together and each and every time with the same outcome and why I and they think it is something loose in the motor housing which makes the fan unsafe to use as I do not know the cause of the rattling,. Its not a quiet rattle but a very, very loud one, impossible to have on for more than a minute or so.

All of us came to realise the back the cage which has a hole for a tiny rod that is attached to the motor housing, to sit on to help keep it in place is not long enough to do that and the minute the fan starts to go around, the back case slips off the hole and so starts to bounce against the motor housing. if I can get something that is inflammable, some type of putty or tape to hold the back in place without touching the blades it might be fine

Such a shame as it would be a brilliant fan if it could be used and hopefully I just happened to get a bad one

I have been using this Pro Breeze AirFlo Slim mainly in our bedroom and also beside my desk, and I have been impressed with it. Assembly was very simple, the controls are straightforward, and the fan feels steady on the floor without wobbling when I adjust it or move it slightly.

One feature I really like is that it can be used as a full height pedestal fan, or you can remove some of the screw together pole sections and make it shorter for use on a desk or table. That makes it more flexible than a standard standing fan, especially if you want to move it between rooms or use it closer to where you are sitting.

The airflow is excellent for a slim standing fan. The lower speeds are ideal at night when I just want gentle air movement, while the middle settings are good for working at a desk or cooling the room down without blasting air directly at me. Even on full speed I found it very quiet. You mainly hear the sound of the airflow rather than the fan motor itself, which makes it much nicer to use in a quiet room.

I like the oscillating feature because it spreads the air across the bed or desk area smoothly, instead of just cooling one spot. The remote is also very handy for bedroom use because I can change the speed or set the timer without getting out of bed. The timer is useful if you want airflow while falling asleep but do not want it running all night.

After running it pretty much 24 hours a day since I got it, I have not noticed any vibration, rattling or motor noise. It is rated at 30W, so by my calculation the running cost should be well under 1p per hour on a typical electricity tariff. The description saying it runs at under�1 per hour seems oddly worded to me, although obviously it is still technically true.

The grille feels sturdy, though like any fan it will need a quick dust clean now and again. Overall, this is a great fan if you want strong airflow, quiet running, flexible placement and simple controls.
