I recently bought a tower fan from Pro Breeze (for obvious London heatwave reasons...) and am happy with the purchase. I could have chosen from a myriad different makes and models but the write up for this one read as honest about function and form. I have it in my living room (though it could very easily be moved to eg my bedroom) and it kept me sane last Saturday when the temperature rocketed. It's not silent (which fan is?) but is perfectly liveable with. Pro Breeze then gave me 15% off my next purchase which I hadn't expected. Trawling their website, I found their small clip-on fans (plug in) and ordered two to clip on bed frames. Ordering and delivery were a breeze (LOL). Would recommend.
