Elephant Blackberry Plant
UPDATE Elephant Blackberries have grown in and are spreading like crazy. Seems like they are susceptible rust, unfortunately. I'm going to move them next spring and give them more space. They were literally a 4" twig when I bought them. They actually started new growth canes from the roots and not the existing stem; existing stem actually rotted away. Hoping I get fruit in 2019 to compare because there isn't much info anywhere on this variety.

Goliath Pomegranate Tree
Tree was shipped in a huge box that was literally split in half. Not sure how shipping managed that. I have pics for proof. They come dormant so it looks like something from Sleepy Hollow with gel crystals and wet newspaper to keep the roots wet. None the less, after being brutally shipped and a few twigs broken, the Bush seems to coming back to life.
I ordered the 5-6’ I believe. It has a decent structure but needed some pruning to eliminate crossing branches. If anything, the hummingbirds like to take a rest on the twigs lol

2 years ago I planted two "Fuyu" persimmon trees. This past harvest was over 90 pounds. . .
I expect a similar "fruitful" outcome as far as possible with the Pomegranates. I have seen well cultured pomegranate "trees" and believe me they are as ornamental as they are producers of healthful fruit. Looking forward excitedly.

Transplant Mix
Do not know that I need it but if your soil is silty it will get dusty as it dries out. A little gel will help.

Was concerned about the quality of my purchases based on some prior reviews. But went ahead and purchased at a good price. Wanted to buy additional trees with the Black Friday discount but hesitated because of the negative reviews. Received the trees in great shape and prompt delivery. No complaints. Wish I had bought more and taken advantage of Black Friday discount. I will purchase again.
