Can't give a review at this time because we just planted the tree. We will have to wait and see how it does.

It's difficult to rate a dormant plant. But there are some things: it was packaged well; it looks like similar bare-root trees I've purchased in the past. It appeared healthy and intact. It's packaged quite well, and they have a system to successfully keep roots moist. My only concerns were: (a) it was not clear (partially based on previous instructions from previous orders) - did I need to cut off 1/3 of the height of the tree or was that done prior to shipment? (I called & they said it was done prior); and (b) I have a very hard time locating the graft, which must be kept a few inches above ground. I wish they'd find a way to mark it - magic marker? twist tie (it might move. . . )? tape? something stretchy like plumber's teflon tape? . . .

The proof, however, is in the pudding, so we'll see what happens at leaf-out and beyond.

This looked like a healthy, well rooted specimen. Packaged well, successfully kept roots moist. There was no instructions regarding pruning back; and, different from the pecan, this one had end buds and appeared NOT to have been pruned. So . . . we'll see.

This tree arrived looking strong, well packed and healthy as were the other trees I purchased in the past from Tyty. The only difficulty I have ever had is with shipping tall packages UPS. The 6 foot tall (or taller) trees tend to get broken in Albuquerque. UPS then destroys the package and contents and sends a notice. In all cases, Tyty has promptly sent replacements. The prices are such that I can afford to experiment. Overall a very good experience.

I ordered 5 trees back in September. They arrived well packaged just like the website described. I got them in the ground the next day and it has been raining ever since. So I know they won't dry out anytime soon. We will see what happens when spring comes and they start to bud out.

I ordered 5 trees in the 1-2 foot category they came packaged just like the site described. I was able to get them in the ground the next day following the instructions provided. It has been raining ever since. They sure won't dry out before spring. Hoping for an early spring so they will bud out quickly. The irrigation parts are here and ready to go down once spring gets a little closer. Fingers are crossed.
