Buy All-In-One Almond Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
I am fairly sure that the foot removed from the top and the bottom ( tap root) should not affect the overall shape or health of the tree. Nice looking 6' tree. the box was less than 7', so it would be hard to put an 8' tree in it.
