Finally got the replacement trees for three of four trees that did not thrive. These trees had green leaves, were very healthy and almost twice the height of the original four trees that were delivered in the spring after being dormant for the winter. The root balls were huge and healthy as opposed to the original four that were almost bare sticks. I think that I probably got the leftovers last spring and I would recommend ordering for delivery in late fall for the best results. That said, TyTy honored their satisfaction guarantee and sent me replacements that blew away the quality of the original order. Well packaged and I am a satisfied customer of this nursery. I only wished the original order was as good as the replacement order.

Buy Tennesee Mountain Fig Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
I ordered the 6-7 ft tall tree and was so happy at its size and appearance (lots of leaves, thick stem, healthy looking roots). I planted it the same day it arrived around mid-March. It dropped all the leaves almost immediately and the entire 7 foot stem DIED. I was so mad. But I kept watering and watering and ta da, it started growing new stems. Here we are now in mid to late October and it is looking beautiful and healthy. Ten figs grew from it this year and five have ripened enough to eat (so far). The flavor was sweet and very juicy. I have an Olympian and and a Chicago Hardy in pots and the flavor is better than the Chicago hardy and about the same as the Olympian (though this TN Mtn fig is juicier).

The plants I received were in great shape with large healthy rhizomes. They were packaged carefully and included water absorbing gel crystals to keep the rhizome hydrated during shipping. The plant itself was larger than expected.

Buy Arkansas Black Apple Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
When our trees arrived we were presently amazed. We live in the nursery capital of the world and we have never received any plants through the mail that were as well packaged as these. Leaves were still green and vibrant, the root structure was full and soil ready. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Great job!
