I got 2 of these, the came with robust roots and the dormat stems had a really cool zigzag shape between the buds. They are leafed out after 4 weeks and look happy.

Most of the trees I've purchased from TyTy have been successful and I would buy from them again, if I was confident in the tree/plant variety. That said, I tried twice to plant one of their bareroot tricolor European beech and both times it never leafed out and the trees died. They've given me credits for the trees, but not full credit for the second tree as part of that was purchased with credit from the first tree that died. I appreciate their willingness to work with me, but disappointed both trees failed despite being water and properly cared for (same care the successful trees had) and disappointed to be out the full money I spent on these trees that didn't make it.

Not impressed with quality of product plants & sizes......... be warned don't waste your money for what I paid ( basically twigs were sent to me not trees )
I paid $140.46 for two (3-4 ft ) trees & one 4-5 ft tree which is not ( 4-5 ft )
