I recently ordered three trees and a banana slip from Ty Ty Nursery, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the packaging. The roots of the trees were completely intertwined, and the shipping tape around the roots was applied so tightly that it took a careful, almost surgical effort to free them without causing damage.
The banana slip was simply thrown into the box with no protection, and it arrived in very poor condition. We are currently trying to nurse it back to health, but we’re unsure if it will even survive (we took pictures upon unpacking).
We’ve ordered from other nurseries before, and for the same shipping charge, they provide plants securely packaged in 4x9 pots with soil. Given this experience, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this company to others.

shopping experience was ok i think it was a bit misleading but i could be wrong and will update this if andnwhenninhear from the nursery.. I ordered a linger finger tree/vine that was 3 years old and it looks like a dead twig... I tried calling but couldn't get through and today i sent a email asking if this was normal and would it growing grapes or anything at that and if it was normal for it to look dead..

Plants came in good condition bare rooted. Planted in large pots indoors for a week until the weather breaks.

Well-packaged plants/trees, arrived when they said they would. Seems like a vigorous couple of plants. Time will tell whether the genetics are strong.

Our bamboo plants showed up very well packaged and in good shape. We just planted them - now we're crossing our fingers that the ground cinnamon, hot sauce, & wood ashes keep the deer from eating them!

Trees packaged well. Will take a few weeks/months to know if bare root tree will survive. Planted same day.
