Ordering was easy, delivery with cold pkg was good and a short time for delivery BUT the very best is far is their bacon I have ever had. Crispy and no fat the taste is very very good. The ground beef is so meaty no fat and super good, makes the best burger ever. If every thing else is this good that I ordered I will for sure be ordering again.

Best thighs you'll ever eat

The difference between these thighs and what you get at the grocery store is night and day. These thighs had so much flavor and better texture, I won't be going back to supermarket chicken any time soon. I made some in the slow cooker and so much less water was released, so I'm paying for less water and more chicken.

Top notch chops

Just cooked two chops. They are actually red in color, not the pale pinkish things you get from the grocery store. Each chop had just a little band of fat which adds terrific flavor to most dishes. My dish calls for removing all fat, which 8 did. Chips came out wonderful. They were nice and tender and full of flavor. Will definitely be buying again. I just love the meats from Farmer Dan.

Love the Ground Beef

My wife and I have been getting our monthly love box of the fresh meat WE ORDER every month. My wife is a professional chief trained and graduated from Johnson and Whales Universality with a bachelor's degree in culinary art's back in the late 80's (Yup were old, lol) Anyways, when our monthly box of meat comes, I know in the next week or, so my wife is making her killer meatloaf for dinner which turns into me bring leftovers to the office for lunch. The beef is outstanding, fresh and very flavorful. We can't say enough about our monthly supply of two pounds of beef, our steaks and hamburgers. I was hesitant at first to order meat online. I read many of your ads and reviews before I took the plunge. So happy I did. Although I have always liked to pick out my own meat I was not disappointed in the meat items that were sent me. The whole process was simple except making the choices of what my box should look like. Rearranged my choices several times before pushing the button to order. Everything looked so good and the stories of the small farm families it comes from made my decision to give it a try secure. Upon receiving the box all my concerns of meat selection by strangers were laid to rest. I still have some to cook but everything we did turned out excellent. Legendary Pie

So I ordered my usual ancestral burgers (super good). Before checking out I asked my wife to pick anything on the website, she picked the apple pie….. and thank god she did it was hands down the BEST APPLE PIE I’ve ever had. I’ve grown up with some old lady’s that can bake a mean apple pie. There is no comparison to this one. Looking forward to trying the other available flavors. I promise you will not be disappointed. Aside from one slice that my wife Ate. I devoured the entire thing in two days. Will order again.

I received my first order last week. I was able to select meats we normally eat with ease from the order form. Out box arrived still frozen with some dry-ice remaining in the package. So far we have had a steak, ground beef and the air chilled chicken. all 3 were very flavorful, tender and not gamey tasting like one would sometimes expect. The chicken was our favorite. We baked it with some light seasoning because we wanted to taste the meat. There was no chlorine taste not spongy and the meat just melted in your mouth. I have always been skeptical of ordering frozen meat online but rest assured you are getting top quality from Heartstone Farms. Here is a couple of pictures of the chicken we baked.

Easily the Best Butter I’ve Ever Had

The title says it all - this is a perfect blend of rich butterfat, sweet cream, and salt. It is good on both toasted breads and resting steaks. I could fill this review with multiple superlatives in an attempt to describe how good it is, but I think the best thing I can say is that the first time I tried it, I realized this is what butter is supposed to taste like. This butter will make you realize that the technology that allows mass production is not always progress, and quality is often a casualty of convenience.

First Time with Heartstone.

I have not eaten the hot dogs yet.BUT,EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE BEST. The butter is so good. The zesty sausages are my favorite of all time. The flavor the rib eye 12 oz is delicious.

Best beef stew with roasted vegetables!

I made one of my favorite beef stew recipes with your stew beef this past weekend and it came out wonderful! I will definitely be ordering the stew beef again soon to try in some of my other recipes!

The sirloin steaks, ground beef and boneless chicken breasts arrived in good condition. All products were vacuum packed and boxed with adequate packing. Dry ice kept the meat frozen solid. The sirloin is flavorful and juicy (I like medium rare) the chicken breasts are consistently tender and moist.

lack of taste

The ground beef in my last order was very different in taste and texture. It did not have the usual grass-fed beef taste and texture was very fine, almost like pulverized.

Best chicken ever

I have noticed chicken tasting differently for about 3 years. It has less taste every year. Even organic free range chicken has less and less taste. I finally decided to try Heartstone and not only does the chicken taste like it used to, so does the beef. Thank you Heartstone!

I used the chunks of stew beef to make a stew. It was so flavorful and good. The chunks were a bit on the big side, so I cut them in half. My husband loved it!! It is now part of our monthly subscription.

Delicious chicken leg quarters!

Firstly the quality of this chicken is outstanding- I don’t want to feed my family meat that has been raised in crowded, dirty, and inhumane conditions. No hormones and additives thank you very much. Heartstone Farm is a local farm that I know and trust. I and have been ordering their consistently quality products for a couple of years now. These chicken leg quarters are one of my favorites! They are delicious- plump and juicy with wonderful flavor. They also have an impressive presentation on the table- baked with herbs and veggies- dig in fam! They love it! Seriously delicious!

Heartstone Farm, My Favorite!

I started using Heartstone farm because I wanted a better quality of meats, grass fed without all the additives. And I can say I am well pleased so far, especially since I get 1lb of high quality chicken breast every month for free. Love this chicken, I like to cook it in a skillet with a lid so the chicken is moist and tender. Love it. If you are looking for a top source of meat I recommend Heartston Farm out of Maine, you can't go wrong.
