Everything in farmer dans meat box is excellent. Meat chicken pork and now salmon.. this is the best choice we have ever made..

Up front, I have not tried the meat yet, I received it hard as a rock frozen, and put directly in freezer. I loved the convenience of online ordering and picking my cuts. My only complaint is the cuts appear small and very thin. I will update after I cook some and try it. I am no stranger to farm meats VS store bought, so i am sure they are premium. Overall, I'd purchase again and recommend.

Best ground beef ever

No stinky meat here! It smells and tastes amazing, like great grandma's did. The stew meat melted in our mouths and made the potatoes and carrots taste better, too!

Great quality ground beef. You can really taste the difference with grass-fed, grass-finished meat it’s flavorful, fresh, and not greasy. It cooks well and works perfectly for burgers, tacos, and everyday meals. I also like knowing it’s a healthier, more natural option. Would definitely buy again.

When I began looking for a delivery service for my daughter for Christmas who is very picky with her food choices she makes for her family (she only wants the best for them), I found their website to be very user-friendly. I loved their back end story and this is partly what made me choose them. I had also emailed them some questions I had and they responded the very next day! The chicken pie was good. In my opinion, it needed more gravy and the chicken pieces and vegetables were very small, causing it to have a somewhat mushy consistency, but it was tasty.

I have been a subscription customer of Heartstone Farm for well over a year and am never disappointed with the meat - or Maine blueberry pies that I give as Christmas gifts to friends and neighbors. In addition to my subscription meat products, I also purchase beef that’s offered on special sales to help stock up my little chest freezer. This month that extra purchase included shaved steak which is phenomenally tender and dellicious. Compared to grocery-store meat, Heartstone Farm products are far superior in quality while not significantly more costly. The convenience of home delivery is also much appreciated. Products always arrive in timely fashion and frozen solid.

Chicken Pot Pie

Ordered this to have an easy dinner option for nights I didn't feel like cooking. My husband and I LOVED it. The flavor was so good. When we finished we saved the leftovers for lunch the next day and it was just as good. Only thing I could say that isnt even a negative, just an FYI is my pie took around an hour and 15 mins to cook, not 45 mins.

I ordered the chicken pot pie’s for the first time with my last order. They were very good, and bigger than we expected. They were much tastier and better than what I expected. I guess I learned my lesson, by underestimating Farmer Dan. I will be getting these again, for sure. Highly recommended.

Hi, I would rather prefer it to be a little more thicker but in general your product is pretty good.

The meats that I receive from Farmer Dan are of excellent quality. It is well worth it. It is a perfect way to avoid the chemicals that we get poisoned with in the store bought meat. You can taste the difference and I like this product more.

Picking my items was easy...well adding them to my cart was. Trying to decide which meats to select was difficult because they all looked so good. So far we have eaten the salmon, chicken and pork chops. All very high quality you can feel right out of thenpackage and taste with eacry bite. Never going back to grocery store meat.

I just enjoyed one of the best pork chops I’ve had. My plan was to eat half of it and save the other half for another meal. That didn’t happen. After broiling it, it was so tasty that I enjoyed the entire thing.

The freshest meat possible!

We left another meat delivery service because of quality issues. No such problem with Heartstone! We opened the first pack of chicken breast and the only meat I have ever seen this fresh was running around grandma’s backyard a few minutes prior. The Heartstone turkey that our family enjoyed at Thanksgiving was just as fresh and delicious. So far we are very pleased with everything about Heartstone. I was skeptical but it has turned out to be a great thing for my family. Most of the beef is of great quality. I think I may be making my chuck steak wrong. Other than that, the beef is excellent. I love the shaved steak, salmon, pork chops, and chili! Our package is always in tact and the food arrives frozen. The only complaint I have is that there are so many items to choose from. This is a great way to eat clean! We’ve now started growing our own vegetables. This is a very rewarding way to live.

The product is (chicken, steaks I've purchased) really good but I keep finding the packaging of some items (previously steaks, presently chicken breasts) to be below standard. I keep finding items with broken vacuum seals, otherwise the meat quality is fine. Thank you.

Natural aroma is back!

We were so excited to get our first box of meats last week. Each pound was carefully wrapped and looked amazing. We decided to prepare one pound of ground beef first, for lasagna. As it was cooking, the meat smelled pure, like it used to when we were kids. Unlike grocery store burger that smells like...something dead, or dirty baby diapers. A lot less grease to pour off, as well. Needless to say, it made our pasta dish taste scrumptious! We thank God we found this company.

The burger patties have become a staple for us! They seem to be adding more fat in the more recent batches, but they’re still delicious.

As someone who is allergic to black pepper I was not able to eat more than a couple bites because it had pepper in it. However the few bites I had were good but a little on the dry side. My husband liked it overall but didn't love it. It was a good quick meal but likely won't order it again for that price.

Too spicy for me

First off it was my fault for not reading the ingredients but I never thought a pot pie would be spicy. This pie contains peppers, black pepper and cayenne pepper so if you aren’t a pepper fan then you should pass on this pie. The crust is delicious and it has a lot of chicken and veggies in it but the gravy is very pepper forward.
