Love this bacon, not salty but delicious. Whole family enjoying it.

A wonderfully delicious chicken that we had for Thanksgiving is a winner for us! Next time we will order it to be delivered the week before Thanksgiving. It was frozen solid and we ended up not being able to cook it until late in the evening on Thanksgiving day… It was simply the best chicken we’ve ever had including her mother farms!

Consistently excellent quality.

The turkey meatloaf is my favorite and their blueberry and maple syrup infused breakfast sausage is outrageous. I make sone changes to my shopping list each tine to suit the occassion. The frequency of delivering can be changed with a click. I have one box every 8 weeks I think so I can get quality within my budget. Their uncured bacon is excellent and the beef and chicken are always on my list. These days, hard to ignire a free pound of ground beef added to my order. Read their preparation information. Fresh organic beef and chicken needs some extra seasoning. Chicken abd vegetable soup is very flavorful and their chili, while a little sweet for my taste, proved an excellent base for adding vegetable medley and some extra heat.Enjoy! You can always cancel.

The package was sealed well. The salmon was flavorful and seemed quality. Only one serving, would have been better with a slightly larger amount.

Excellent Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon

When Heartstone Farm started to offer the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon, I just had to give it a try. Was not disappointed and will remain on my subscription order. I cooked it wrapped with spinach in phyllo dough. Best piece of salmon that I have had in a long time! You will not be disappointed! Can't wait for my next order.

Fantastic salmon

Cooked our salmon in rhe cast iron tonight with ghee, garlic and fresh lemon. It was by far the best salmon I have ever eaten. Premium in every way. Don't think I will ever eat any other.

Great beef and chicken

The sirloin steaks, strip steaks, tenderloins and chicken breasts I have received and eaten have been flavorful, lean and tender. Each box is received in good condition with well packed meat that is frozen on arrival. I have been quite pleased with the quality of the products and the service.

Beautiful and Delcious Turkey Breast

Farmer Dan's Turkey Breast came to house exactly on time. It was boxed perfectly and was completely frozen. I thawed it in the refrigerator for about two days. I brined it for 24 hours, then smoked it on reqtec. The meat was lean and tasted great! Plan on ordering several more for the future!

I have eaten the salmon which was very good. I also ate some all beef hot dogs and they were good . The ground beef is just the right amount of fat content.

First time to purchase Thanksgiving turkey. “IM HOOKED” cooked as directed but I did brine The turkey. Moist, delicious, tender. Highly recommend if your considering next year.

I love the way you keep adding options (like the recent salmon). The only meat missing from the choices, for me, is lamb.

These boneless chicken breasts are a staple in every of my subscription box orders. I have baked, grilled, pan fried and broiled these chicken breasts and have never been disappointed. They are always trimmed beautifully, appropriately sized, tender, moist and most of all taste delicious like chicken should. No bleachy taste or odor. Yes a little more expensive than what’s available in your local grocery store but in my opinion well worth it!

We've tried other meat box subscriptions which have left us wary of trying again. Glad we took one more shot and found Farmers Box. The meat in our first box was fantastic. Italian Turkey Sausage, breakfast links, pork steaks, and bacon graced multiple meals (and so much more). To top it off, it's great supporting meat products that were raised in in the US with organic quality. Communication was spot-on ensuring we were ready to receive the box with no delay in getting it into the freezer. Looking forward to our next box!

Once the bacon I received was extremely fatty and once the dry ice had totally melted but they seem committed to continually improving their product and service. With all the overpriced meat we buy in grocery stores, not only is it full of hormones and things that nobody wants to think about or even talk about. I've become very picky for my family. I tried other farm fresh meats and found that although somewhere good nothing I found was great! Then I found farmer Dan! I've been receiving it for over three months now and everything I've tried is wonderful! I highly recommend! The butter oh my gosh is amazing! You will not be disappointed!

OMG I have never liked turkey much, but that changed. My son smoked it and it was so juicy, moist and the white meat was even juicy. I put it all away so guests couldn’t take any. I will never buy another store turkey ever.

So Much Meat!!

I've noticed a few things when I buy factory raised turkeys or am blessed to serve a wild turkey my son has caught. The factory raised turkeys are plump and enticing when you see them in the store. However, when you cook them, they shrivel up, leaving behind a ton of fat and juices in the bottom of the pan and very little meat for my family to enjoy. That plumpness, from the factory birds, seems to be coming from fat and added liquids, not meat! The wild turkeys are out running about, scavenging this and that. As a result, they seem to be leaner on both fat and meat. Again, this leaves very little for my family to enjoy. The turkey from Heartstone was vastly different. It cooked up with almost no fat or liquid left in the pan! I, in fact, had to add chicken broth to keep it from completely drying out! We fed 10 guests for Thanksgiving this year. Most of them had seconds. On top of that a bunch of them took home leftovers to enjoy later. After the turkey carcass cooled down, I began stripping it. I was in total shock because I ended up with 3 one-quart bags stuffed to capacity with turkey meat! 3 quarts left over after 10 people walked away more stuffed than the turkey was? OMG!! I'm in shock! A factory turkey or a wild turkey would never have fed all those people and would have never provided leftovers after a crowd like that! I am so pleasantly surprised by this! WOW!! In fact, the only reason I didn't give a 5-star review was that some of the guests said they got tough meat on their plates. It was odd as some pieces were nice and juicy and others were tough and stringy. Not sure what caused this. What's crazy is that we took a one-quart bag of the turkey and made two giant pot pies. These two pot pies provided our family of 5 with two meals thus far!! We had to put the other 2 quarts in the freezer for another day!! So, we may be eating for months off of this one turkey!! LOL!!

I have reviewed many farms online as I always eat and buy organic at the grocers and get it home and find the fine print stating clean green but not necessarily grass raised and finished and the one thing that stood out with Heartstone is the value for the clean green fed and finoshed along with hand picked farms to coordinate with! Better options better variety and better clean well raised animals and food !! Happy to support a family who works hard stands behind their product and even the day before Thanksgiving during a hectic time for businesses called me back in five mins of me leaving a message r/e my delivered order I have already referred two neighbors to this farm The delivery was suprisingly fast arrived frozen solid as stated on dry ice !! Canmot wait to try the variety of meats and fish ordered and anticipate my next subscription order in JanuaryThank you !!
