best turkey i have ever eaten.

I have had many farm raised turkeys, however this turkey is the best ever! So much meat on the bone and cooked to perfection. It was so moist even the next day, and the taste was amazing. Thank you for being so thoughtful raising such delicious turkeys.

I smoked two birds in the morning..

We ordered two turkeys for Thanksgiving and the process and communication were both great. The birds showed up when they were scheduled to arrive with enough time to defrost. Everyone loved the turkey. Looking forward to ordering more turkeys in the future.

Roasted Vs. Frying

We bought two turkeys. One to be fried (first time) and one roasted for security in case of frying failure. Both were exceptionally good. Moist , tender and flavorful. A+++

I love to be able to come home, put this meatloaf in a pan, add just a couple of my own touches, and have a home-baked meal in about an hour. The only thing you have to remember is to thaw it in your fridge! It is at least as good as a meatloaf made from scratch. Save yourself some time!

Absolutely loved the quality of Salmon. I am a Salmon eater and even though I found it quite a bit pricy I wanted to try it. I was amazed by the quality. I would certainly buy it again. I just wished it was a little less costly.

I haven't tried everything I received in my first order, however what i have tried has been great. site is easy to use and meats have been tasty. I feel better I'm supporting small farms and not getting the junk they have in stores. I switched from good chop to farmer Dan and found the meats and fish are fresher.

I felt like making chicken soup with the breasts I bought from you, but they were frozen. No matter, I got the base ready and put in the frozen breasts and cooked the soup on low. I have the most delicious soup with veggies partially mixed with an immersion blender and then the shredded chicken. I’m saving some for sandwiches because it is so tender! YUM!!

Heartstone's ground chicken is the best I've ever had! I scrambled it up and made the gluten-free recipe for Egg roll In A Bowl with it. It was so lean there wasn't any grease when I cooked it. I'm trying to lose a few pounds, so this was just perfect. This definitely will be in my next order too! Forgot to mention that the flavor was amazing too! Yum!

My son brined and smoked our 14 lb turkey from Heartstone. Mr turkey arrived safe and sound, fully frozen, extremely well packed! The most amazing flavor, juicy, and meaty. I can’t say enough how much the family enjoyed our time together and Mr Turkey was the star. Will definitely order again!

Excellent butchering process

Bird arrived ahead of Thanksgiving. Kept it in freezer till time to start the thaw in the fridge.opened the turkey and I was completely dumbfounded! This bird was clean as a whistle inside and out! Didn't even know that was possible. No hairs or feathers. No fat clumps and veins or bits of organs left inside the bird. Just unbelievably clean. I followed their coking instructions but covered the bird which caused it to cook quicker. It turned out a bit dry but still good. Made the most delicious drippings for the gravy. Just knowing the purity of this bird and that it's not harming my loved ones is worth the purchase. Thank you, Farmer Dan for such clean and organic products.

Great beef, thin burger

I love the flavor of the beef patties but this morning I was trying to make the burgers and due to the burgers being thin, they were falling apart as I was trying to separate thembas they stuck to the wax paper. Net time I will try to separate them frozen.

A Happy Thanksgiving

Directions came with the turkey as to how to cook it. Those directions were followed to the tee. The best turkey we have ever had. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I'm new to ordering my meat online. I did alot of research to hopefully insure I chose the right farm. Which I'm pretty sure I have. So far I have only had the sirloin steaks, very tasty. A little small, 10oz isn't as big as I thought, but i can handle that. One of the sirloin steaks had a good chunk of fat on the end, which I was disappointed with, I reality if I saw that in the grocery store I would not have bought it. I'm ordering blind, I can't choose the meat that goes in my box. That's where I have to depend on heartstonefarm to select the very best piece of beef, etc for me. All the other selection of meat look good and I can't wait to try them. I hope going forward, I'll be extremely happy with all my meat selections.

The 11 pound turkey was perfect for the three is us. Cooked to perfection in 3 1/4 hours (stuffed). Delicious thanksgiving feast with plenty left for pot pies and turkey orzo soup. Will definitely order again. No photo of it cooked but here is one ready for the oven. Just look at those beautiful chubby drumsticks!

I cooked 3 turkeys this year. Two from local homegrown farms in my community, and The Heartstone Farm Vermont turkey. Very noticeable difference in texture and flavor. Best zesty sausage

I am not a big sausage fan BUT after trying your zesty sausage I’m a huge fan!!! So delicious and not too spicy. I order it every month now! So many yummy ways to prepare it…on the grill, sausage subs with onions and peppers, roasted with potatoes and veggies to name a few!

Fresh Is The Best

I use to make a regular trip to the warehouse clubs to get the latest deal on skinless chicken breasts. One thing I found they all had in common was a rather boring sameness to them. For one like me that eats chicken breast regularly this lack of tastiness made my chicken suppers something to just eat. I came across Heartstone Farms in hopes of getting something that would excite my tastebuds again. I remember, broiling my first one with only salt and pepper. When I took my first bite it was like the old line from the Hew Haw Show. "My tongue almost lapped brains out." It was fresh and tasty. While they may be a bit more expensive it is so worth it. The skinless chicken breasts are the best.
