I have been a subscriber for approx. 1 year and every item has been excellent. When Heartstone started offering wild salmon as an option, I immediately updated my selections to include the salmon. I received 2 portions in my recent delivery and they looked beautiful. One portion was 8.4 oz and the other 8.9 oz with skin on. When I was finally able to cook them, I removed the skin, which came off very easily, spread with a garlic and herb cream cheese spread and topped with wilted spinach, then wrapped each in phyllo dough. They were EXCELLENT! You will not be disappointed with the salmon. Next time I will cut each in approx. 4 oz portions to make individual servings.

Whole Chicken Goodies

Just in time for the chick soup time of year! Getting a whole chicken feeds us for days for the first round of beautifully roasted chicken with that delicious crispy skin. It was a little over 5 lbs. and we had plenty for a couple of dinners, some yummy chicken sandwiches, and a yummy homemade chicken noodle soup! I made enough to put a few containers of soup into three freezer for another few meals. Delicious, healthy and economical! Thanks Farmer Dan!

The best chicken breasts I have ever had!

Until I started purchasing chicken breasts from Heartstone, cooking a chicken breast was definitely not something I would ever say, “Yum. Can’t wait!” I always cooked my chicken breast to chop up to add to other dishes, such as stirfry, salads, etc. And then I ordered my first chicken breast from Heartstone! I cooked as I normally do: lots of seasonings and in a frying pan. When finished I just cut off a little end to taste it! That piece of chicken never made it into any other dish. It became the focal point of my meals for two nights. It was juicy, flavorful, and it definitely indicates what one gets when purchasing ethically raised chickens without additives!! And now I only order my chicken, as well as pork and beef, of course, from Heartstone.

You can’t ask for a better ground beef, right from the farmers, butcher, to your freezer/ table. Free of injected and free from the big meat producer. I feel more confident getting my meat products from the small farmers verses the money hungry injecting producer.

Heartstone Farm Ribeye

The ribeyes are so good I make sure I order at least one every time. I live in an apartment so no outside grill. I actually pan fry them, adding a little butter at the end. Sometimes I marinate them, but I’m good with just some salt and garlic pepper, a drizzle of olive oil in a hot skillet until medium rare, finished with the butter. Of course I also like to have caramelized onions with mushrooms on the side. Yum!

I’ve been a vegetarian for the last six years and was ready to incorporate meat back in my diet. I did a lot of research to find a company that treats the animals humanely and fed right without antibiotics. Now that I’ve made the transition, I feel so much better about eating meat. The best! Ordering monthly from Heartstone has been a game changer. The quality is excellent!

I purchased three different orders from you. The first two I requested filet mignon but I was sent ribeye. The ribeye sucked.! More than half of it was fat. I love you better and a lot of the other products were just fine, but the fact that you no longer provide filet mignon, which is my favorite meat, is the main reason I’m leaving you. Also, the fact that I never received a notice stating you decided to change my meat on me is very bad business practices. If you weren’t going to provide it, you should’ve never put it as an option. More than half of the ribeye was fat not to mention how tiny thin they were. It was the worst and because of that, I’ll probably never order from you again.

The ribeye was a little thin and not as good as I expected.

Meats are delicious and are portioned correctly l. They stay moist after cooking. You can taste the difference. The sausage is very good along with beef, chicken and pork. Highly recommend

This is our first ribeyes from Heartstone Farms. The flavor was very good. The steaks were well marbled. The only negative is that they were a little chewy, even though I cooked them to a medium.

Love this ground beef. It’s really filling and used mostly in my situation for either Italian meatballs or a seasoned beef mixture for tacos. It’s really filling smells great when cooking and tastes great.

In this day and age, it seems everything is ultra processed. Even the foods you think are healthy for your family, are not so anymore. I have received 3 shipments so far, and have LOVED every product I have gotten. The meat is ultra tender and just tastes different. Beef, chicken, or turkey-it tastes GREAT with minimal prep/seasoning. The pies have been amazing, and the packaging is the best I have ever seen. We are thoroughly enjoying the ground beef so much so ,that I have to order additional ground beef each time. We love our burgers on the grill. We had them twice this week! I also use it to make meatballs along with the spicy sausage for my sauce. It makes a huge difference using Heartstone Farms Meats & sausage along with my mother’s secret recipe for her sauce. What a difference it makes! No more inferior hamburger & sausage from the supermarket for us. Dinners are more enjoyable when you know that not only are the products not tampered with ( no growth hormones, injections etc.) it makes your recipes superior !

These were the best burgers I have done on my smoker ever. Perfect in every which way. Definitely ordering more. 350 for 30 minutes to perfection.
