good afternoon. So we've been subscribed to you guys for a bit now. your meat is fantastic. for some reason our last 10 lb subscription had 2 lb packs that has turned a bit (brown/grayish) color but more importantly smelled a bit off. probably just a one of but wanted to let you know.

Very nice product! The chicken meat is lean and the pieces are a bit on a small side, but the taste is very good.

Delicious, tender and sweet

Greetings all!! I ordered Farmer Dan's Shaved Steak I believe it was in May or June. It was the first thing I made when I received my order. I had gotten some hoagie rolls, red/green/yellow peppers, onions and mushrooms, and added my own variety of seasonings. I quick fried the meat, added my veggies and lightly toasted the rolls. I loaded my concoction on my rolls, added provolone cheese, broiled until cheese melted and proceeded to chow down! They were better than anything I could have bought out! The Shaved Steak was so good, I ordered another round and will be making this again. How can anyone not love a hoagie!!!! 5 Stars! Danette R.

5 stars. We purchased the steak tips bundle at 10 1 lb packages/$99. We used 3 of them to make sirloin tips for a family gathering--an easy crockpot meal and very tasty and tender. Minimal trimming, most pieces were just cut to size and put in the pot, and the results were delicious. I will purchase again when the freezer space allows. Thumbs up to stock up bundles from Heartstone Farm.

We slow-cooked the brisket in our oven after seasoning with a coffee dry rub. It came out perfect!!! Thankful for all of the grassfed meat we are able to get from Farmer Dan at Heartstone Farm.

Almost perfect! Hearthstone Farms steak burger Pattie’s get 5 stars for flavor and leanness, it’s a quality burger. Weighing in at 6 oz. Per patty, they are a generous size. Having them pre-pressed is quite convenient. We are really pleased with this product overall. So why the 4 star rating, you ask? Well, we tried the burgers thawed and the paper squares stuck to the burgers. We tried the burgers from frozen and the papers were stuck to the burgers. We appreciate the 3 pack size (we use 2 packs if we need more). Also I wouldn’t mind a smaller size patty offered (say 4 oz.). I’d purchase both sizes ( lots of kiddies here). Hearstone Farm steak burger patties are delicious and we will purchase them again.

The beef is the best

We've ordered 4 times so far. Quality is superior to anything you can get in the supermarket or local butcher. The strip steak and sirloin tip steak have been consistently good. Hamburg is very good too. Plus I love that i'm supporting a local farm with high sustainability standards.

The burger I had wasn't the best ever but only because we didn't have many herbs and spices at the cabin in which we stayed during Labor Day weekend. The meat, however, was the tastiest burger meat I've ever eaten and I've eaten a ton of burgers. I can't wait to order more and eat the patties at home where we have spices that will make for a perfect burger. I've ordered a lot of beef heart from Heartstone Farm and they're always delicious, so I'm not surprised how delicious the beef patties were, only that I didn't try them sooner.

I used this salt for the first time on some Hearthstone Farms steak tips and I am hooked. The flavor was very subtle.

I cooked two bacon slices in the oven on parchment paper and it only took a few minutes. This bacon tastes much better than store bought. One of the ways I like to eat it is on toast or a toasted bagel with peanut butter. If you like bacon and peanut butter you should give it a try.

Heartstone Farm Premium Ground Beef is always very tasty, much more so than anything in the grocery store. And of course, knowing that the animals are living their best lives before slaughter is a plus. I've used this ground beef to make meatloaf once or twice, but prefer to make cheeseburgers. I roasted the chicken for dinner. Then made chicken sandwiches the next day and chicken soup. Definitely a big difference between this chicken and store bought. Most store bought is cleaned with chlorine and other chemicals.

The shaved steak is a good meat for anyone to start out with. It cut finely and evenly so it cooks balanced. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5. Is I prefer bone in. I recommend shave steak for anyone with little cooking experience to try. They give you more than enough. I made some Philly cheesesteak Ramen.
